Gordon a Piston

Post#1 » by harshey1388 » Wed Jul 1, 2009 11:54 pm

idk how exactly this affects us but Ben Gordon has agreed to a 5 year deal with the pistons.

also looks like Villunueva is also going to be a piston.

you can lock this if you want Tastic. no biggie.

i agree i love Gordon and good moves by DET keeps them very competitive in the east. 11 mil or so a year for gordon is a little pricey but still a very good move.

Maybe the Suns can use Ben Wallace as a trading chip to get Rip Hamilton now?

Wallace might even want to play in DET to finish his career...or is he totally done?

I'd prefer a S&T for Sheed

I see Sheed going to Bos. I want to see Artest here. He could shore up our D. A lot like Billups did for Denver.

Artest will probably stay in Houston, I agree. But I would like to see him here. Maybe if we get rid of Jrich somehow someway. Then put Barbosa at the starting 2.

Nash, Dragic
Barbosa, Hill,Artest
Hill,Artest, Clark
Amare, Artest
Chandler,RoLo

We could go big.

Nash, Hill, Artest,Amare, Chandler or even switch Artest and Hill. Plus we have someone other than HIll to guard Kome oops I mean Kobe.

? You'd start Hill ahead of Artest?! eek

If we got Artest then I'd leave Barbosa as 6th man and let RonRon run some offense when Nash is out

I would go after Ron Ron or maybe Sheed. Think about how many technicals we would have with a roster of Artes, Sheed and Amare?? Man, we would be at the edge of your seat.. LOL

youre all wrong.....

the pistons knew dantoni was onto something...... he just wasnt small enough......

they are going to re-sign iverson (gee wont be be an intriguing FA this year.... almost being treated like trash) and then go after dahntay jones in free agency and put out a lineup of hamilton, stuckey, gordon, iverson and jones

micro ball in the house!

Rip to Utah
Boozer/Tay/Maxiell to PHX
Amare/J-Rich to Detroit

or

Rip to New Orleans
Chandler/Tay/Maxiell to PHX
Amare/J-Rich to Detroit

I like the signings, except this is what the Pistons are getting for all of their AI cap space?? I understand Ben Gordon, and I like Charlie Villanueva as a player, but they were supposed to make a splash. I guess Boozer opting in complicated everything, but sheesh.
