I am not sure what Chris wallace has planned for this team...Trading pau for nothing and then doing this trade..he basically traded pau for zbo...Pau is a much better player, better teammate, hardworker..take it from a blazer fan who had this loser on his team, zbo has bad work habbits, is a cancer in the locker room, and a big downer, and always gets caught drunk driving and smoking weed...Would memphis have done any better with pau? no I dont think so, but u guys would still have been in the top 5 to pick up thabeet, u had the solid core of gay and conley...Now memphis has a confused ball hog who will ruin team chemistry...I really feel sorry for lionel hollins next year trying to figure out how to play zbo and thabeet together when zbo clogs the lane and messes around while everyone else watches....Grizz fan u guys deserve better then this here's what ur line up could have been
C Thabeet
pf Pau Gasol
sf Rudy Gay
Sg Greg Buckner
pgConley jr
thats a pretty scary line up and had u guys still traded marko for Qrich then u would have had a pretty solid line up, possibly playoff line up, imagine gay and conley penetrating and throwing it out to qrich to hit a big a three, and pau making inside post moves and hitting his midrange shot, along with thabeet blocking shots and gasol being there to block as support if thabeet couldnt do it..but wallace and hiesley messed up..and btw those guys had no business signing dmiles, just to mess up portland's cap a team that will be owning the west once LA's championship run ends in 011

Re: Mike Hiesley and Wallace confused
That's not possible to predict because Memphis' record would be totally different if they kept Gasol. Meaning they wouldn't land in the draft positions they were in after trading Gasol away..
Also, why do you have Buckner over Mayo. o.O

completly forgot..well if u had kept pau gasol then u have a all scoring team, u could have ran a fast paced offense not to fast though and been great...but in some cases teams have good scorers come off the bench while leaving in defence first, examples include dallas and denver

To be honest it's not all that bad. Pau was unhappy in Memphis wasn't he? Better to get some solid players than keep a disgruntled all star.
I think Marc and Darrell will be solid players in this league. Z-Bo isn't as horrible as everyone makes him out to be. He should be fine and isn't a locker room cancer. At least he hasn't been one in the past few seasons. I think the only thing you folks need to worry about is ball distribution. 3 potential 20 point scorers and only one ball.. Conley may have a hell of a time trying to work it out to make everyone happy.

In a game against LA in Portland, the team was struggling and zach randolph was blaming all his teammates in the locker room for them being down, and basically attacking them, even though Zach had recieved all the touches he had wanted and even though lamar odom had beaten off the dribble many times and also when he didnt defend the pick and roll..so finally a young man stepped up and shut him up and that was Brandon Roy who told him that his teammates werent all the blame and that he messed up to and that his teammates were doing well, after roy stood up for the team, they came out and won and it was clear roy was leader leading to trade for frye...ZBo was a cancer who always argued with Nate McMillan, zbo also got introuble for smokin weed, he also had strip club incidents and always for some reason drives drunk...He's a ball hog who slows down the flow of the team...If i were a grizz fan i would hope that Lionel hollins can come through to him

That was over 4 years ago. He hasn't had issues in NYK, and the situation with Amundson last season was a result of his father being in critical condition in the hospital(and passed away shortly after) around that time. You can't expect someone to be thinking clearly when their father's life is in jeopardy.
All your situations occurred when he was in Portland. There's no doubt that his history with that team is bad, but you act as if people can't change. Do you still think Artest is a cancer? Actually nevermind.. I don't want to argue on a board I'm not active in.
Good luck Grizzlies fans~

Hmm, but you notice how teams keep getting Zach then want to get rid of him right away? Coincidence?

Thank you for your concern that we are sure is genuine. Zack is a Grizz and warts and all we are glad to have him. What has happened in the past regardless of how unfortunate is in the past and we are sure he himself regrets a lot of it like all of us regret the things that have happened in our own pasts. Zack has a clean slate and a great opportunity here in Memphis that he himself intends to take full advantage of.

Some Portland fans are just terrible. 2 years later and they're still trailing ZBo around as if he's the one that made their team what it was. Think Darius Miles and you see why Portland reaped what it sowed.

No I think get Aldrige, Oden and then Griffin has more to do with it. Don't you?

It wasn't that Pau was unhappy as much as the Grizzlies were never going to be bad enough with him to get top 5 picks to gain serious talent, and Pau can't and will not be the go to guy on a team.
