So they turned down Amare at the trade deadline last season because they didn't want to pay him than turn around and pay Randolph the same amount of cash? Hilarious

what a joke

Heisley's a complete tool

So Lee's not going there? unless there's a buyout for Tubby Randolph

Wow another dropped ball by kerr and sarver. Clippers were looking to shed salary we should have pulled Camby, or Kaman away from them.

I'd imagine that's why they KEPT Camby though, to use him in an often injured platoon at C

True but you never know if you don't try, and I question whether Kerr is competent enough to have made an offer for Camby or Kaman.

Who knows what they would have done but everything I heard led me to believe they were trying to move Kaman after the contract they gave him.

Oh well on to Chandler. Last chance Steve...

Trade Gasol for cap space, trade Darko for Richardson, Richardson for Z-Bo ...

they would be so much further ahead if they'd done nothing

Tell me about Heisley - I'm from Vancouver.
For what Fatty cost them they could have had Lee and Millsap or Odom etc.

If you have cap money to spend why woudl you spend it on Zach?

Z-Bo is just a terrible player. And then super-expensive on top of that. What bothers me the most about this trade is that it means my fantasy of J-Rich for Camby has basically no chance of happening. Dunleavy's too stupid to 100% rule it out, but they no longer HAVE to unload a big.

lol what a joke of a trade. I don't understand why the Grizz didn't keep Q for the expiring. Now they screw up their team chemistry by bringing in a cancer. Not only that, they just brought in an seemingly untradeable contract.

But man what a great trade for the Clippers. The 2nd right thing they did since bringing in Camby for a 2nd rounder.

This puts the Clips in a good spot. Camby is a nice player and one that will be sought after in FA. They have a solid lineup now with Davis, Gordon, Thorton, Griffin, and Kavman. Jordan was not too bad as backup Center last year and they can let Camby expire and maybe get a solid 2 guard in FA or just run with these guys. I think they have a playoff team now if they can stay healthy.

On paper they were a playoff team last season, but they just didn't have any team chemistry and too many injuries.

Didn't you know? They offered Gasol for Z Bo straight up and Knicks declined it. They've been planning this trade for the last 3 years.

Heisley is the biggest joke ever, and I am so glad to see this trade goes down

he is not just a complete joke, he is also a total arsehole

the only and sole reason he signed Darius Miles last season was because he wanted to screw up Portland's cap space and cost them $9M more (correct me if this figure is wrong)
this is just pure evil

I hope all of his future trades are just like this ie getting raped from behind :)

Eff the Grizzlies for gifting Pau Gasol to the Lakers and then blowing all their space on Zach Randolph.

EFF them.

Exactly what I thought when I heard the news :(

I don't recall another time in history when there have been so many dumbass GM's getting completely pawned by avg ones.

Isn't Dunleavy the Clippers GM as well? How the hell did he pull this one off? Unless Heisley is on a totally different level of stupidity.
