Sounds like wishful thinking to me.

Listening to him on the radio right now and he said the twitter posts were bs. He is completely insane.

Yeah, had a lot to say, talked about how he's messing with all of us on his twitter. Loves the city of Houston, the organization, the franchise and all the players on it. Had a lot of good things to say about Yao, the "deal" he was signing was a RECORD deal, not an NBA deal, lmao.

WIth Lakers also pursuing Artest, I doubt Artest would go to Cavs. If Artest did not return to Rockets, then I see him going to lakers. The doubt of Lebron not staying with Cavs after 2010 is a big one and the chance of Kobe staying as a Laker is much much higher.

EDIT: Oh wow, this traitor wants to play for LA/CLE. Ship this traitor's ass out already. F*ck it, I'm not gonna miss you Ron.
lol, yeah it seems like he'll end up in either LA or Cleveland. I'm a Cavs fan and I'd really like him here, but assuming Ariza leaves LA (which seems likely) I think LA will get Ron. If, by some chance Ariza stays, then I think Ron will be in Cleveland. I guess LeBron may be able to convince Ron to come here even if Ariza does leave LA, but I doubt it.

If only the Rockets would accept an Artest for Varejao S&T :P

I doubt LA will get Ron. They sold off their draft pick because they wanted to resign all of their players instead of giving money to a rookie. They will not be able to afford Ron.

As long as we refuse to sign and trade what's the most LA/CLE can pay Ron? The MLE? What is the most we an pay him on that 1-year deal? My suggestion to him is to sign the 1-year deal. More teams will have more money in 2010. He has a better chance of making his pay day a year from now.

Ariza is going to Portland or Toronto. Odom might leave too. They resigned Josh Powell and Mbenga . I can't see Artest and Kobe getting along for a whole season though.
Harden is still a work-in-progress. He can score, but he can't help his teammate that much - Yao Ming

I think Ron would go to the Cavs if Cle pays him over the MLE. Ron feels he has been underpaid throughout his career and wants one more contract. I would be surprised if he signs a long term MLE deal with anyone.

What would it take to do a s&t with the Cavs? Varejao (or Hickson), Daniel Gibson, non guaranteed contract of Terrence Kinsey, Danny Green and 2011 1st round draft pick are assets the Cavs could possibly trade. You guys gave up Donte Green and a 1st round pick to get Ron last year. It makes sense Morey would want some type of asset in return to let go of him?

Wow I still remember when the media was saying Artest was a bad pick up.. he is too emotional.. he cant work with other players and coaches.. Now that the Cavs are courting him he is an intelligent player! Plays the game the way it should be played! he is exactly what they need! this would be a marvelous move..

makes me throw up a little in my mouth...
