The officiating was poor but if we had been a more mentally tough team we still would have won.

Falcons loss this game. Putting any kind of blame on DeAngelo is not right. DeAngelo seem to be the escape goat for some Falcons fans and the sorry media.

No it wasn't. There was the pass interference call, that he did on purpose and was a smart play. On the very next play, he presses Smith on the line in the chest and gets called for a illegal hit. Then two plays later, Steve Smith is standing the Falcons secondary, on the wrong side of the ball, jawing with Hall (who was talking just as much) and the only person to get the flag was Hall.

Come on now. There isn't one corner in the league that is going to let a reciever stand in their face and talk trash without saying something back. [/b]
