I agree with you. I would have a hard time justifying more than 8.5 million a year on him, simply because he doesn't bring anything else to the table. Shooting is what you get from him. If he could get an additional steal or two and a few more boards a game than what he's getting right now, then you can make a case. Big ass contract for the Pistons that I think they'll be regretting for years to come.

Hey, if they rather do that instead, to each their own

I'm sure they reckon on getting AI for cheap, at least less than half of Jrich

Rose + AI has fail written all over it, just like Stuckey + AI was fail.

Iverson can't shoot 3's, the spacing would be horrific since they'd only have one 3 point threat on the floor at a time. Rose/Salmons/AI(and Hinrich too sometimes) are all ball dominant players who'd end up mudering each other for possessions they won't be able to get. The only catch and shoot threat they have is Deng, but he can't shoot treys.

That'd just be god ugly overall team balance.

J-Rich on the other hand is like a bigger version of Ben Gordon that'd patch up all the holes on the wing.

Taking Iverson over J-Rich doesn't even make sense contract-wise since AI would prolly want a multi year deal (like Ben Gordon wanted), while Richardson only has 2 years left on his contract and is still 2010 friendly since next year he can easily be used in a trade or S&T as a valuable expiring chip.

That AI rumor was just something taht some writer dreamed up.

All Bulls beat writers & all bloggers that I read say that the idea is ridiculous.

So is the Nate Robinson idea coming out of NY.

The only legit rumor may be a possible trade for Boozer - and that rumor is coming out of the Salt lake Tribune
