Lets say Marion wants to win a championship and he signs a veteran minimum with us to contend, how would you like that. If this was to happen the chances of Lamar Odom returning would go down. But imagine we did bring Odom back and got Marion for the vet min which is believe is around 1.3mill. We would have a great 2nd unit of Odom, Marion, Luke,Sasha,and farmar/brown. That line up could win more games then the kings did this past season lol. Marion could play the role of Ariza off the bench. He would get us steal, play great defense, and be great in the second unit, he can also run the floor with odom and farmar. What do you guys think about marion we could get him cause since raps signed Hedo and Marion won't really get much from anyone maybe a MLE from cavs. I think we could get him for the vet min if he wants to win a ring. Lakers would be favorites to get him if he wants to win a ring.

Marion requires too much money, is not happy being a third or fourth option and we are loaded at the small and pwer fwd positions. think POINT GUARD next time. :wink:

he just turned down a 32 million for 4 yrs and could of went to 40 mill from the raps he said he wanted 50 y the hell wuld he sign for the vet min he doesnt care abt winnin he juss wants money forget him we got artest lets get kidd for the vet min

He's not signing for the Vet Min... he wants to get paid. At the very least, he'll get somebody's MLE.

OP be realistic.... Marion does not care about winning all he cares about is $$$ .... If OKC or kings offer him the most $$$ he will go there..... he will wait it out until season starts to see if he can good deal if he is not signed then he will have no choice to accept vet minimum (highly unlikely) i accept him to be in cavs or magic whoever loses out on sheed sweepstakes.....

he wouldn't do it.. he wants too much money to go for the vet. Plus going for the vet now would hurt any chance of him getting a bigger contract in the future. Unless we offer him a one year deal but that would still put us over the cap..

only if we were able to keep odom. marion can't get his own shot,and he pouts to much. he doesn't play defense,and he has lost some of his quick jumping ability.

I'm contented with Ronron and resigning Odom. I don't want another "all-star" on our team because it could easily break our chemistry. What about Kobe, Pau, RonRon, Odom and Bynum? They're just good scorers and we're gonna add another scorer? I think if we resign Odom, that would be enough. We need much more of a role player like what Shannon Brown does. It shouldn't be an all star. And why would Marion join us with the minimum?
