Shrink the list. Ferry is going to have to get very creative. I hope the move is not just bringing in Anthony Parker because that doesn't improve your team enough to be a legitimate threat for the title. Of course the Shaq move only really makes sense if you bring continue to improve the roster. There are still guys out there that can help the team, but Ferry needs to be aggressive.

Looks like Marion is only option left.

well i gues marion would be ok he is versitle but do you think we would get him to play defense?

Mcydess is still out there and would proboly accept a one year deal, and of course bringing back Andy is another option since we need a PF.
Marion is an exellent defender. he is a tweener and can defend tall SGs, SFs, and small PFs.

while he would help you contain Rashard Lewis he would be at a disavantage with the taller and the stronger PF (Gasol, Dirk, Garnett, Duncan). don't get me wrong Marion is a great player, but the issue for Cleveland is his asking price.

he made somewhere between 15 and 18 mil last year. how much would Cleveland offer him now that they have the burden of the monstrous Shaq contract and how much of a pay cut is he willing to take?

considering that he left the Suns because he was unhappy being the third option there I don't know how happy he would be as the third option and take a huge pay cut for you guys.

There is one reason for every single one of them except maybe Artest, MONEY!!!

He was on his best behavior this past season to position himself to land with a contending team.

He intended to stay with Houston. It was Yao's latest injury that made Artest available. Houston was only offering him one year because of it. And he's been behaving fine going back to his Sacramento days. But yeah, the guy is still a whack job. Even when he's behaving fine, you're just waiting for him to erupt.
