Possibly...Ridnour would answer our backup PG and Redd would be a good upgrade at the 2. Redd is getting old and just coming off an injury but its not a bad sounding deal. Would it save the Jazz any money?
Redd isn't old. He'll turn 30 in August. But he has missed 88 games in the past three seasons. When he is on the court he's a terrific scorer but a liability on the defensive end.
When healthy the Jazz are already a great offensive team. While 2-guard is a weak spot in their offense, I don't think that adding a volume-shooting 2-guard who doesn't play defense and may not play at all is a good move.
