That is a great addition, and I do think he will be in the roster this upcoming season. I thought Bucks gave up on him too early, and he has been playing great overseas. I think he has an MVP trophy as well from one of those leagues. Good pickup.

He's a good offensive player with some good size. I like the addition he gives us some depth up front, which we badly needed.

With the signing of Haislip, and Posibbly Rasheed Wallace, does that make Dejuan Blair available?

Think Europes version of Rasheed, plus cheaper. More athletic at this point as well. Very capable of putting up 12 and 7.

As a Tennessee alum, Haislip has been known for being lazy and not liking to practice. Lots of talent but people say he's lacking the will to do well.

I'd say he's in the top 3 of non-NBA bigs in the world right this second. He's VERY talented. Don't think anything about him prior to his european trip, he developed 3pt range and has played tough over there.

It's a good signing, we get a talented athlete, who has really worked on his game playing in Europe. We must have him really cheap if we still have to MLE to throw at someone which is good.
If we are still intnent on signing a big with the MLE we will have a reasonably full big rotation.
Duncan, Bonner, Haislip, Blair, Mahimni and MLE.
Thats a nice contingent, of bigs, really wouldn't mind seeing a trade, probably Bonner to free up some minutes for Blair, but Blair has plenty of time to show his stuff.

I would rather have Rasheed, lol. Haislip is a gamble. I also would like to know what kind of contract he signed.

I have been following Haislip last seasons in Europe and he has been improving every year.
As stated before IMO he is now one of the tops 3's out of the NBA. He has also developed a nice long-distance shooting without losing athleticism.

The best two videos you can find in youtube about the current Haislip IMO:

And another one where he doesn't get intimated (punch included):

Interested to see if the experience in Europe will translate pretty well to the NBA now - I definitely do like that he's big and is athletic, though.

I hope your right, I haven't got to see much of him since he left the NBA so i'll take your word for it. But I remember him being a very talented player who seemed to lack motivation while he was still in the NBA.
