Oh man. Grant Hill has been my favorite non-Celtic since I was really into basketball.

WTH. Gary Tanguay is now 'in the know'? His source may get pissed at him soon.

Celtics are going to have a very strong 8 man rotation.

Honestly i know he was healthy last season but i am worried about him getting a long term injury

i would have looked at barnes and maybe daniels first

but... its grant freakin hill, super high bball IQ, great passer, good all round offensive game and can spell both of Ray and Paul at any time

If hes coming in, great off-season from DA

on to back up point guard

If true, this means we don't need a backup pg.

Turn the clock back 8 years and we have a 75-win team

Turn the clock back 8 years and Rondo is a sophomore in high school.

Wow. If true... Some of my longtime favorite players are all on one team: Pierce, Ray and G. Hill. Now, if Ainge could get Kidd... Wishful thinking.

But, as another poster said, I would've been more receptive to Barnes first. I mean to expect G. Hill to last a whole regular season as he'd this past season is leaving a lot to chance. I hope it works out... Because he's no younger than the two veterans he'll be backing up. Nevertheless, both R. Wallace and G. Hill must be backups at this stage in their careers. It'll help to keep them fresher. Remember, both players were starters this past season and averaged over or nearly thirty minutes a game. If I'm them, coming to Boston is a relief.

Hill should be a Celtic by the end of the week. I'm just worried the Cs are getting too old too fast. Outside of Perk and Rondo were going to have an older team. I would have like to re-sign BBD to go along with the Wallace and Hill signings but that does look like it's going to happen. One thing is for sure Paul Pierce should see less minutes during the regular season so he should be fresh come play-off team and the same for KG who is coming off of knee surgery.

There is almost no legitimate way he can be certain of the latter. Closest would be an offer sheet. Ainge could (and should) match. Davis probably would prefer being #2 PF on a very good team with an aging all-time great ahead of him and a chance to start at "center" next to same over being #3 PF on a very good team with a slightly younger aging all-time great ahead of him and no chance to start at center, but that's not his choice to make.

One narrow exception would be a sign-and-trade already worked out, but that's very unlikely.

I don't mind getting older now and trying to win so long as Danny's ultimate goal is building around Rondo, Perk, and Durant when we sign him in 2011.

Neither has Eddie House or Marbury. Either way it'd be an upgrade.
