Who is saying??

Why would we go for BBD when we just drafted the beast Dejuan Blair who is around the same size and body shape? I think we go all in for McDyess.

Glen Davis has a jumpshot ranging to inside the arc; Dejuan has no jumpshot

God I hope this isn't true, we don't need another undersized PF. I sounds more and more like they are moving TIm to center, shucks.

Well according to NBA.com it says big baby is 6'9, but i highly doubt that. He looks more 6'6 to 6'7. I guess his size is quite big though he can hold his own down low. Will be funny if we play BBD, Blair and TD together, good luck muscling into the paint there.

I believe Glen has dropped around 20-30lbs.

I would rather see us go after a true center with the MLE rather than another PF.

I expected the Spurs to strongly pursue Zaza Pachulia but I guess I was wrong.

I'd rather us keep Gooden instead of signing Big Baby.

Right now I don't know what the hell of going on. The joys of the RJ trade and the Blair drafting are now distant memories, considering what the other top teams have done since then. Davis doesn't address our biggest concern (rebounding, defensive-minded starter-quality big). I'm really hoping that the FO has at least 1 more rabbit to pull out of the hat before they call it an off-season.

Looks to me like the Spurs are looking to the future with one eye and on winning now with the other. Getting younger to ease us into the next few seasons, if BBD and Blair pan out then we'll be set at PF for a long time. Add in McClinton, Hill, TP and Jefferson still has a way to go. Bring over Splitter and De Colo next year. I think it's sneaky but could work out well for us.

Davis has made himself into a quality role-playing energy big man, but unless he's going to come off the bench and lessen the younger bigs minutes - he shouldn't be signed to start, and I wouldn't expect him to, and we shouldn't use the MLE on him.

Starting big - somebody who's agile and has pretty good overall size (McDyess/Varejao, another FA/trade option...).

Davis is mobile for his size, but is too small length-wise to be a starter on a team, that's typically built on balance and sways more to defense and rebounding.

We need some overall size and agility next to Duncan. This org. must realize this (I lean to that they do), and look into the past, and look at other teams.

I prefer Davis to Haislip, and I prefer Gooden to either. I really hope Gooden is here for the long term and I feel that having him and Jefferson as dual 4th or 3rd scoring options (depending on lineup) can be quite formidable

As much as I like BBD. He doesn't make sense towards the Spurs roster. The Spurs like Nolan and Ballings said need to go after a big man to put next to TD to help with the defense, rebounding, and put up miss shots. Someone like Pachulia is suitable for the role.

I couldnt think of a worse fit in free agency. There's no way this can be true, unless some sort of trade alters the roster again.
