Kobe vs. T-Mac

Post#1 » by Sports Arsenal » Sun Jul 5, 2009 4:28 am

Hah, I thought this one would ring some bells for some of us, remember those days? Duking it out with the Lakers fans over who was better McGrady or Kobe...

Anyways I was doing some math on paid per game... Since McGrady joined us in 04-05, the team has paid him $86,467,374. In that amount of time he has played 297 games. Which amounts to:

86,467,374 / 297 =$291,135 / Game played. That will piss ya off huh?

Compared to Kobe who in the same amount of time has played 387 games for $88,593,750.

88,593,750 / 387=$228,924 / Game played.

McGrady makes $62,211 more per game he plays... Kind of crazy IMO.

Ok Im bored again, the Ariza effect has worn off.... Give me something here Morey, :P

Yao probably makes about the same.

Actually Yao is paid a little more than half of what McGrady makes per game since 04-05.

Yao= 51,120,111 / 317 Games = $161,262 / Game.

Yao got the max deal when he resigned with Rockets after his rookie deal. Only 2 players got the max deal then. Yao and Amare. These were 2 no-brainers then. Any agent would have done it.
