Artest to Lakers, Rasheed to Boston

Post#1 » by jazzfan1971 » Mon Jul 6, 2009 2:51 am

What's next? Stephen Jackson traded to Cleveland? JR Smith sent to Orlando?

I hope these guys choke on these kuckleheads. I'd much rather see the Spurs win than Boston or LA now. (not as much as the Jazz though)
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

These two teams have always done whatever it takes and lives with the rotten personalities on their teams. I don't think either of these guys is the differnce, but they are volatile teammembers.

Honestly, I don't understand the hate. All of the problems these guys have had are in their rearview mirrors and all have helped their respective teams tremendously in recent years. I'd love to have any of them on the Jazz.

Rondo-Allen-Pierce-KG-Perkins with House-Allen-Davis-Powe-Sheed off the bench sounds pretty good to me. I hope if we trade one of Boozer/Millsap we can nab Powe with part of our MLE.

How refreshing it is to see teams take a chance to win it all instead of stand pat to "see what they can do different if they are healthy".

If I'm a Celtics fan I'd be kind of dis-heartened. Powe and Davis were great for them and now they may lose both. In their place they're adding Grant Hill and Rasheed Wallace, two completely different players (from Powe and Davis) who are both in the twilight of their careers.

And Boston still needs to find a backup PG.

Not a good off-season so far for the Celtics.

As for the Lakers, I really don't know what they're thinking. They could end up losing Odom, and that would be a huge blow to their team. Ariza + Odom >> Artest.

Meanwhile, if the Spurs land Glen Davis they're looking even tougher.
