Big man coach for Hasheem

Post#1 » by mofro » Sun Jun 28, 2009 6:52 am

Just wondering who the big guy coach is currently for the Grizz?

I noticed a lot of former greats are instructing bigs ie. ewing with dwight and kareem with bynum.

So any chance we can get dream? or someone...

Clifford Ray (Boston) is the best big man Coach.

Memphis needs to pursue Hakeem Olajuwon even if it's to work with Hasheem Thabeet every couple months. Both have several things in common from soccer, going to Texas schools, and both are Muslim. More common interest can probably be added to that as well.

Whoever coached Marc (and Pau) needs to come to Memphis ASAP!

I posted a thread like this back in March for this reason. The Grizz definately need a big man coach now that they added Thabeet to the roster along with their current young frontcourt. These are the names of players I mentioned previously.

Alonzo Mourning
David Robinson
Kevin Willis
Cliff Robinson
Moses Malone

Someone added Dikembe Mutombo in a previous thread.

Having Mayo, Gay. Now Gasol and a 7-3 center. Good future.

Having all these guys is giving for an amazing future, but you guys still need a power forward my guess is that one of Gasol or Thabeet are gone by deadline next year.

Thabeet
Gasol
Gay
Mayo
Conley

That is one amazing line-up.

Hollins has apparently come out and said that there won't be a big man coach hired. Yet another reason, IMO, that he should be canned.

PJ Brown could teach Thabeet a few things about positioning and reading the play from down low and how to react to different situations defensively.
