Birdman
Right now I see we need to sign Brown and Odom.
How about Chris Anderson? Birdman Hustles
This is the type of guy who could help Defend the KG's/Sheed/Perkins
We need another Big. Bynum is still Raw
Gasol/Artest/Odom/Birdman/Bynum as the Bigs
Powel and Menbga I do not see playing much in the playoffs or the finals

Re: Birdman
We can't offer him any money over the BAE at max, so I don't see him considering us based on that.
He'd be a very nice addition tho.

Whats up tkb! I wanted to ask you a question, what do you think about trying to pick up someone like Ramon Session? he can play the 1 & 2 position for us!

Re: Birdman
The Lakers need another veteran big to answer Boston signing Hill (it's gonna happen) but who is willing to sign for 1.2 mil?? If Powe is brought over he would be a great bench guy when healthy.

Re: Birdman
i dbout birdman would sign with us.. he'll want too much plus he's the face of their franchise even though he's not their franchise player (just look at the many birdman hairdos during the playoffs hehe).
Wilcox sounds like a good idea. I remember him because i was at the game when he was killing us with his dunks while Mihm got his 2 yr ankle injury

Re: Birdman
There will be some roster casualties between now and October to acquire a big man if needed... Still want to see how Elonu does in SL and Camp first, but there'll be guys out there, the Skinners of the league, to sign for the BAE.
Really only need insurance though, not anyone expecting to get more than 3-4 mpg.
If healthy, Gasol/Bynum/Odom will eat up most of the 96 C/PF minutes.

Re: Birdman
Dude is like what I told Denver fans during the playoffs.............a GIMMICK player. No thanks we don't need him.

Lol Deep. You & Iamworthy with the words of the day. Never fails lol! As for me if we could get him cheap i'd be ok with it. He plays "D" & blocks a lot of shots. I'd take that coming off the bench.

Re: Birdman
Id like to have him, but we already have a guy like that in Powell. Energy off the bench supposedly. Sure birdman is a lot better, but thats the same kind of role he would play. Especially if we bring back Odom.
Pau/Odom/Powell
Drew/Odom/DJ Mbenga
Dont really see us needing Birdman.

Re: Birdman
If we can work a sign and trade with Houston with Artest and Ariza we could offer the Birdman the MLE and let Lamar walk if he accepts. Saves money and not a real drop-off from Lamar.

Hey man. He'd be a good addition (anyone at PG would really, lol). Probably too expensive for us though. We need Lamar locked up ASAP.

Re: Birdman
