"We have to be open to anything," Ricciardi said of the team's approach heading into the July 31 non-waiver trading deadline.
It appears as though a team interested in Halladay could certainly make an offer to Toronto without getting rejected immediately.
"We have to see what makes us better," Ricciardi said. "Obviously, if people have interest in Roy Halladay, they'd better realize there's a steep price that's going to come with it."
