Now that a choice is down to Dice or Gooden, I really hope the Spurs reach a deal with Gooden. There's no guarantee Dice will come here. Gooden already chose us since last year. I say we go loyal and lock up gooden.

Getting younger to ease us into the next few seasons, if BBD and Blair pan out then we'll be set at PF for a long time. Add in McClinton, Hill, TP and Jefferson still has a way to go. Bring over Splitter and De Colo next year. I think it's sneaky but could work out well for us.

There is no future for the Spurs right now. Once, Duncan retires (or is pretty much done) the rebuilding mode will begin but there is no way to predict what will happen with any of the young players that we have now. For example, when Hill's contract ends if he gets a serious offer to start and get a lot of money most likely the Spurs wont match because of Parker.

I am thinking that the Spurs really liked what they saw from Davis in the playoffs and they are thinking that he might do the same thing for them. Or he might just be a backup plan in case someone else doesn't agree to sign, LOL.
