There was a trade on the trade forum along the lines of Boozer to Chicago, Tyson Chandler to Detroit, Brad Miller and Korver to NO, Rip to Utah. Everyone benefits and we send most of the talent to the east. If KOC could pull this off I'd be the happiest son of a bitch alive.

I highly doubt KOC would give up two expirings for Rip and his contract.

A Hamilton for Boozer trade makes no sense whatever for the Jazz. It misses the target at all levels ... no financial help, no improvement to the team prospects for the coming seasons and beyond, no help with Millsap signing.

You'd be the happiest man alive to take over a contract (Hamilton) that I have read repeatedly is viewed as the biggest blunder of Joe Dumars career. Go figure.

Hamilton is somewhere between Hornacek and Reggie. As I mentioned in my first post over on the Blazer's board, the thought of Williams and Okur on the pick-roll with Korver and Hamilton on the wings is a dream.

If the Jazz want win 55-60 games and challenge the Lakers then make this trade and re-sign Millsap!

Lets not go overboard, there is NO WAY that the jazz compete with the Lakers by losing boozer and only adding RIP. The jazz could compete with Denver maybe, this trade might make the jazz better, but not by a lot.

I HATE this trade. Do people not realize that one of the main reasons in moving Boozer is for cap-space to re-sign Millsap!??! If we do this trade, we get an older/aging player, with a horrible contract, and limited cap-relief....that is no where near enough to re-sign Millsap. So basically, we trade our only low-post threat (since Millsap will be gone as well), for an aging SG, who shot sub 40% from 3 last year. Thanks....but NO THANKS!!! I'd rather keep Boozer one more year and see how he works out.

Although I like Rip this trade does not afford any cap relief. At this time this isn't the type of trade I see happening.
