I don't think hiring another GM is going to bring this team more luck. It doesn't quite work like that.

no sh*t it doesnt bring more luck. i just hate him bcuz he gives players humongous contracts and they dont live up to it and then he says he cant make moves because of "financial problems". also there is just something about his face that makes me want to punch it.

Hawaiian pizza is good.

OK, I've been trying to figure out what's wrong with this team, and now I'm wondering if more than anything, they are just snake-bitten?
Look at all these one-run losses they are having, and on the road against very good teams. It's not like they are playing anywhere near as terrible as their record over the last while

When I breeze past, breathe fast, on point like Steve Nash

it kinda reminds me of the raptors last year. they would always be in it till the 4th quarter when they had no gas left and would blow close games.

Woooo. We're setting ourselves up perfectly for a Colorado Rockies-esque run to close out the regular season! Can't wait!

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Me too, and all those young players that are contributing right now that he's drafted...overrated.
and then he says he cant make moves because of "financial problems".
Yeah, I'm sure he's lying about the financial problems just to spite Jays fans. He'd rather not spend money to improve the team that he's worked to build. Or maybe he's actually telling the truth about that? Who can say?

It's the combination of terrible luck and much harder competition. They really haven't played that poorly over the last few weeks, all things considered.
