Man, it's just weird seeing him in a Rockets jersey. Sad to see him go. For sure we'll miss his hustling, dashing and slashing. It really didn't hit me yet until seeing this image. Good Luck Trevor! You will always be a true Lakers.

wow a best friend became an enemy real quick^^^

People need to realize it's the LA effect...the LA phenomenon, or call it something. Whenever a nobody comes to LA...all of a sudden people look at him and go DAMN this guy really has some talent and can play some ball!?

like Ariza....Mo Evans...people starting to notice Shannon Brown...Smush Parker lookin good UNTIL 06-07....really, there needs to be a name for this effect. It seems everyone who isn't anybody (except Kwame) on any other team seems to be a star while not being a star on the Lakers.

Ariza will have a tough time, what with one-leg McGrady and Yao's foot. Who is there on that team to give him an open look. Ariza seldom took shots where the defender was within 5 feet of them...and they were usually when the clock was running down or it was a needed shot

LOL true.. when someone is a nobody... they become a somebody a again after playing for the Lakers. I mean, we're the Lake Show... but i like the Laker Affect LOL.

I'm pretty sure he won't have as many good looks like when he were with us but he'll counter it with his sticky defense. I just hope he doesn't become our achilles heel which i doubt but who knows.. he was denvers' obviously hehe.

He was a huge part in winning the Lakers the Championship, and that's what you think Star24?

John Ireland said Lakers brass unidentified personell said Trevor saved the LAL season in that DEN series.

Trevor was fantastic this year, plus he's a good man. 99% of us are sad to see him go, and will miss him, because he did what so few players do, play hard from tip to buzzer, that Star24 is the mark of a great veteran, an NBA baller that earns the fans repect.

the majority of teams if not all wear predominiantly white home jerseys.

ONLY THE FEW GET TO WEAR THE GOLD AT HOME!!

he will be missed. I agree with the you all on the "laker effect". However, I dont think they stay the same after they leave the Lakers. Lets see if Ariza gets better or keeps playing on the same level...

What did Trevor do wrong?

Read this blog closely.

Mitch apparently called Artest's agent one minute after free agency opened. Put two and two together and try to figure out what that means.

Wow, it's really weird seeing Trev in a Rockets uniform.. It's the same feeling when I saw Fish in a Warriors uniform couple of years ago (Horry in Spurs'..)
He was one of my favorite Laker last year and hoping he'll be a Laker for life.

Best of luck Trev! Hope you come back home in the future and please, fire your @#$@#@% agent!

Hard to see him gone, but the replacement the Lakers got back made up for everything.

Only time will tell whether we'll really miss him out there on the floor though. By the looks of it, however, the Lakers are far better off now. It's ashame for Ariza, though. Ashame he had such an ass of an agent. He could of have stayed in LA.

Trevor was awesome for the Lakers. I don't think its right how some people give him hate because he isn't on the team anymore. If Trevor wasn't playing the way he was who else was going to step up for us and play consistent all playoffs long? Luke, Sasha, Fisher, Farmar, Drew? Don't even say Fisher because Fisher wasn't there for the Lakers the entire playoffs.

Man I love Trevor and as a fan I appreciate what he brought to this team, great guy, great heart and a great competitor. Its too bad that he isnt repping the P&G anymore, but it is what it is. I will miss him and his sick dunks, but all I have to say is that I cant wait for Artest first technical to pop his cherry as a Laker.
It all worked out for the best. We got Artest and Trevor is getting paid and he has a ring.
God Bless Trevor and thanks for all the help in our title run Mang.

Good bye David Lee, sure as hell won't miss you.

On the other hand, enjoy the mid-level exception while losing Trevor. It's unfortunate that your agent is a clown.

just makes things more interesting. like I said before, go ahead and turn into a star then come back when our stars are retiring for another ring. In the meantime, I'll treat him like Horry and Fish when they left. Cheer at the beginning intros, then hope they get utterly destroyed in the game.

It's too bad we couldn't keep Trevor. He'll definitely be missed and I hope the sorry ass cell phone using, poser fans at Staples gives him a very loud standing ovation when his name is announced in our first meeting with the Rockets. He deserves it.

Haha SS, yea man those Staples fans aren't Real GM fans that's for sure...twittering, out in the corridor getting food or drinks, texting, chanting we want tacos, I don't identify with the LAL crowd anymore. I'll take the Fabulous Forum and their kick ass crowd everytime.
