Hibbert with 28pts and 9reb. Hansbrouh with 22pts and 5reb. I am glad they have both been so productive in the summer league. I know it is summer league, but hey it has to count for something. Will they put up these numbers in the regular season... um no, of course not. But I still think that they have both showcased what they are capable of doing. Hansbrough is so good at finding ways to get to the line. I think that if given the minutes he is capable of averaging 10pts because of how active he is and how well he shoots free throws (this is of course only if he gets some minutes, which I think he has earned). Hibbert is our center of the future, again he won't come close to having these numbers, but he is capable of averaging 12 to 15pts with 8rebs (and more of both at times). It's summer league, but I'm optimistic that they are capable of doing this (to of course a lesser extent) in the regular season. Or let's hope.

Hansbrough's been kinda weak on the boards.

Yeah, that would be one of my main complaints with him. People keep comparing him to Jeff Foster, and I can see that with the energy thing but Foster has a much better nose for the ball on the boards. Doesn't mean that Hansbrough can't improve in that area, I mean look at how well Murphy did this season. I think that he just needs to position himself better to get the rebounds. But offensively he is much better than Foster imo.

Yeah I'm excited about the team this year, they've shown some good things in Summer League, especially Hibbert and Hansbrough.

No one's really had an answer for Hibbert and Hansbrough.

Good win. Tyler and Roy impressive again it seems looking at the box score.

For those who watched the game how did AJ go?
His stat line isn't spectacular but solid.
32mins, 5 assists, 1 TO and 1/4 FG.

After watching 4 games who has impressed you on our squad to earn a roster spot?

Hansbrough, Price, Hibbert, and McRoberts...no one else...
Once they have that golden shining moment and it comes to them in a dream or whatever and they understand that, that's when this team and this franchise will go to another level from where it was when I was here.

Who would you rather have: Diener or AJ Price? Diener might be better this year, but if we can trade him for.... like.... nothing I would like to sign Price. I think Price has a much bigger upside, but it's tough to sign him now with Ford, Jack (hopefully), Diener, and Tinsley all being paid. I would like to give the youngster a chance and see how he does. Maybe we have a Ramon Sessions on our hands. Or Gilbert Arenas. Or Travis Diener. That would be awesome if he could be as good as Diener!!! (that was a joke for those of you who are new. My jokes aren't very funny. I get a good one about one every 30 tries, and damn does it feel great)

Orlando would trade Dwight Howard for Travis Diener.

I truely do want Price but not at the expense of Dien-man or McBobs beard...I think Josh has an upside that most people dont see..at best hes a more athletic Jeff Foster or he's himself..crazy and hungry to play yet not gifted enough in this level to do it

I'd rather not have Diener or Price. Or Tinsley or Ford. I'd rather have one real PG and Jack to back him up. I don't think Price has really earned a spot on the team yet. He's not really been all that productive offensively or play-making-wise. Kind of disappointing their isn't a decent PG in camp to bring in. Although I still like Aaron Jackson even though he hasn't really been productive either. PG has just been a terrible position for us. It's a curse. We just need one guy who can shoot, create, and defend.

So does about 28 other teams.

You're asking for possibly the best PG ever to play the game if that's all you're asking for.

I know. I almost added that there aren't really many of these guys around. No matter what the media says, it's not really "a point guard's league" - not even close. I'd settle for someone who can create and defend. I'm really liking what's Duhon has been doing in New York. I guess if we keep Jack and he improves his PG skills, he could be really good.
