Pacers in Vegas Summer league
Oklahoma City Thunder are playing in Orlando and in Vegas. Why don't the Pacers consider this? I think this would be very good for Hibbert and Hansbrough to go up against the better players. In Orlando there are not many good players that they can be competitive. No one can stop them.

Good question. To me, 5 straight days of basketball is really intense. Do that twice in one summer, you have rookies who are already tired from an 82 game season who now have had 2 weeks of summer league straight into camp and then preseason and then season and then (for us this season) the playoffs. There's always the preseason to test against stronger competition for the young guys. The 2nd half of preseason games always features the bench players.

they probably figure it isn't worth the travel cost. summer league tells you more about who can't play than who can. a week is probably enough to highlight what the guys need to do when they get back to the practice gym.

As fans we'd love it..considering we have dominated the Orlando league this year...but then again our coach even took part in that...I think they'll focus as they should on practice and the off season because I truly feel the new addition Jones and Hansbrough will move Rush, Granger, and Foster and make them work harder...and thats always a good thing
Once they have that golden shining moment and it comes to them in a dream or whatever and they understand that, that's when this team and this franchise will go to another level from where it was when I was here.
