Warriors trade Stephen Jackson and Monte Ellis

Cavs Trade Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Mo williams and 2010 1st round pick

The Warriors want to get rid of Jacksons contract and Monte has been nothing but a diva the past year for golden state. They would be getting a big man with an expiring as well as a competent replacement for monte with the addition of mo williams. The cavs woulf\d get jackso who is a proven 20 point scorer as well as ellis to be lebrons true sidekick. The only problem would be finding a backup center(Frye maybe?)

Is this a GS trade offer? We'll throw in Gibson for Turiaf or Wright + Morrow, so the deal would be

Zydruna + Mo + Gibson + 2010 1st for Ellis + Jackson + Wright + Morrow (or Turiaf)

Ellis/West
Jackson/Parker
LeBron/Green
Varejao/Hickson/Wright
Shaq/Turiaf/AV

jackson and Ellis aren't worth that much

I'd do Z straight up for Jackson, but the rest of that is just flat out overpaying.

Outlaw u gotta understand it may be overpaying to you but in the minds of the warriors they are losing there franchise player and best scorer for an expiring contract(although Z can still play) and Mo Williams who is no where near ellis talent(or Potential) in there minds.

I don't care about Monta's talent/potential... That is a guy that plays that 1 on 1 style, and would actually be a downgrade next to THE KING...

if only we could find a way to bring in Monta but keep Delonte and Mo...

I can't get enough of them small guards

I'd hope that after the past postseason Ferry isn't even considering any Monta size guards

I like S Jax, but no way to this trade. Especially being proposed from a guy who spelled 'mafia' wrong. Zero points for spelling.

Neither team does that deal. GSW wouldn't give up their franchise player in this deal, and Monta is not a good fit next to LBJ.

M.Ellis isn't a half-court player and wouldn't fit with Shaq. Mo Williams is more valuable with Shaq because of his shooting.

I like my Ilgauskas for Troy Murphy idea much better.

Why would the Cavs get rid of Mo? A proven allstar, LBJs BFF and a someone who has proven chemistry with the team.

wow that is all bad for the dubs, both players dont fit in to nellie's system. maybe mo....but he is not worthy of ellis IMO.

Outside opinion this is a steal for the Cavs.

You don'r even have to bench West and this team can match up against the Magic. You take a hit in depth but you went to the ECF with a bunch of role plsyers anyway. Sign a couple of spare players and get it done.

Iv been on this site for a while now and cavs fans def overvalue our players. If we could get stephen jackson and monta ellis for z and mo willliams, we would do it in a heartbeat that is a steal. Monta is better than mo and stephen jackson is better than z all both monta and sjax would be all stars with lebron mo would not be one in gsw.

What you don't seem to understand is that we don't want Monta Ellis at all. The reason that the Cavs were effective offensively is because they had 3 point shooters to go along with LeBron. While I think that Jackson would help the team, Monta really does nothing to improve them. Not to mention, I think that Monta is grossly overrated. To be honest, I think that people who believe that Cavs fans overvalue Cavs players just don't listen to why we'd prefer one player over another.

Golden St has no interest at ALL in Z and Mo Williams and sure would not touch the first deal. The second deal...GSW would laugh at...totally DOA. GSW MIGHT do a small deal for Hickson,but nothing else has much use to the Warriors off this roster

You have no bait that gets Morrow...or Ellis..or Turiaf....or probably,Wright. Gibson? Are you nuts?
On the OP.....the guy lists GSW starting Z ahead of Biedrins????? I'm not sure Mo starts ahead of Curry at PG..but Z would not play 10 min a game in the Warrior's style.

You might be able to get Jackson or Maggette,and Acie Law is probably available.
