Compare us to upgraded league

Post#1 » by Dexmor » Fri Jul 10, 2009 7:18 pm

Clearly with Odom cakewake but he is not here yet so Im gonna do the team who is signed with us.

With 2010 being so overrated and the economy so many teams are getting stars for free. This might be the biggest free agency year. There are so many teams that are upgraded and upgraded to the point were this year the competition is gonna be insane.
We have to be optimistic so we have to assume Bynum will stay healthy. Artest already knows the basics of the triangle so that is not a problem. So lets look at the upgraded teams and compare us to them oh and Im going out on a limb and gonna put Brown as the starter .

Magic got Carter and now Bass and lost Hedo, major upgrade plus Nelson should be there

Dwight vs Bynum = Dwight by alot alot Magic
Bass vs Gasol = Us but I think Bass is gonna be a 16 and 9 guy as a starter Lakers
Lewis vs Artest = I like us on this one but of course this is close. I say Lakers
Carter vs Kobe= Lakers
Nelson vs Brown = Magic

Other contenders coming

O.K. Im not gonna compare us to everybody cause it's to arguable but rather just list all the teams that have big 4's now or who have added a star

1.Magic-Insane team, Bass I think will brake out next to Howard. Howard/Bass/Lewis/Carter/Nelson

2.Celtics-Were probably gonna lose to them without Odom unless Bynum stays healthy. Sheed-KG-Pierce-Allen-Rando? O.K. 2 of the best big man defenders and a big 5? Insane.

3.Spurs so Scary Duncan, RJ, Parker, Many

4.Mavs Dirk,Marion,Josh,Kidd,Terry A big 5? Are you kidding?

5.Cavs-Lebron,ShaqZcombo,Mo,West. They were 60 wins and Lebron only gets better. Now Shaq for nota?

6.Nuggs-they actually lost Jones but that is why Im putting them here. JR is a year older nd now gonna get 35 mins. Nene/Kmart/Melo/JR/Billups

7.Hawks- they added Joe Crawford for basically nothing. They kept Bibby to. Horford/Smith/Williams/JJ/Bibby plus Crawford? They didn't have a deep enough starting lineup they had to get Crawford?

Probably's

8.Blazers-I hope they get nobody but I know there under the cap so there probably be next.

Lakers-If Odom comes back we lost Ariza gained Artest so that is basically gaining a star for free which gets us on the list. If for some reason Odom because the enemy we evened out and even though we got a free star we lost a star in Odom plus Ariza +1 star.

Well im not making it comparisons anymore but I wouldn't compare coaches anyway. I think they are all really good and it's to hard to compare who is better then who.

What are you talking about SVG personally lost one of the games for the Magic, he was severly out coached by Phil.

I also think Phil outcoached George Karl and Phil was outcoached by Adelman who forced the lakers to 7 w/ a banged up houston squad.

I forgot the Spurs got Dyess to. Damm.

Duncan-Dyess-RJ-Manu-Parker

that's gonnna be hard. They are the Celtics of the West. Again we are gonna need a healthy Bynum or Odom to resign and to beat this one and then the Celtics with 100% certainty were gonna need both.

I cant think how he will be able to do that with Howard Carter Lewis and Jameer.
