Sup Brandon. Btw, Amare's not averaging 10 boards per game.

As I said previously happy to have Frye aboard for the LLE (which is about what he got).

Very surprised Hill stayed with us. He's good mates with Nash so I don't think we wouldve had Hill back without Nash coming back.

Still wish we wouldve got QRoss but at least we've got Hill to help us defensively again. With Amare's health issues I'd be surprised now if there is any trade for him.

Frye allows us to continue playing PnR when Amare is off the court, that's something no-one has mentioned up until this point. I think a reserve front-court of Clark, Dudley, Frye is actually pretty good. Very young and playing all of them together will give them an opportunity to gel for the future. Would love to have Nash playing with that frontcourt ... I think they could learn a lot about when to post up and where to pick their spots. I think with that young frontcourt it could look pretty bad with LB/Dragic are running the show from the back-court for our bench.

I'd be surprised if we keep Pav now to be honest. I didn't expect Hill to sign prev so I thought there might be a chance but with the type of money they've given Hill now I would be really surprised.

Unfortunately Frye doesn't help us much defensively. We'll still get absolutely abused by bigger players like we used to. Lopez is the only player on our team with some size (assuming we buy-out Bi Ben).

This may be our worst defensive team in a long, long time.

HIGH FIVE!

Close to signing a 2 year 20 mill extension with us, probably next week.

Nash/Hill are getting blasted on other boards man...some Knicks fan wished death on Hil and called his wife a whore, another wished him a career ending injury.

At least we're not irrelevant anymore!

This is good signing. While Hill and Frye are not going to make the Suns title contenders, but it does make them respectable. They need to shore up their SG defensively; I would love for them to somehow get Aaron Afflalo into this roster. A gritty, tough, pesky defender who can shoot the ball. The reason why he hasn’t flourished is because he plays behind Hamilton, Stuckey, Gordon and Will Bynum. Afflalo reminds me a lot of a younger Raja Bell. Maybe we trade them Sasha Pavlovic contract for Aaron Afflalo and a conditional 2nd round pick?

Suns lineup:
Nash/Dragic
Richardson/Barbosa/Afflalo
Hill/Dudley/Clark
Amare/Lou/Clark
Frye/Lopes/Amare

EDIT:I've also heard that Blake Griffin's brother is a Matt Harpring type of player. He's tought, can rebound and is very physical when he plays defense. He's also knock down jumpers from 18 ft plus.

Grant Hill proves why the Suns will always be relevant though, even though the Suns may not be the same team they once were it's still a good destination to attract other FA's. Why would Grant want to go to the northeast and freeze when he can sit by his pool in December/Janruary drinking margaritas?

Getting Frye for such a little amount is a real nice pickup for you guys. He will give you a good 20 minutes a game of mid-range game with some pick and rolls. He's not the toughest guy but he will go for the boards.

He just needs confidence and a PG that can set him up in his hot spots to get him rolling. He was doing great last summer but hurt his ankle and had to have spurs removed, and he never got back any of his confidence and lost his spot in the rotation. With Nash there to feed him for some minutes in a game I expect him to give you a little bit of the old Channing Frye at 1/4th the price.

It pays to stay optimistic.
The expectations of Frye around here are way too high, but he's a nice addition, and I can't believe GHill is staying, but I love it. And Nash brings it all back together.
Are we winning a title? No. But we're not going back to the lottery, either, and this team is going to be fun to watch again.
When I breeze past, breathe fast, on point like Steve Nash

@rsavaj- thanks for the Nash update I was hoping it would become a more realistic figure.

I think for the price....Frye will be a great addition for the Suns. Are the Suns done trying to pawn of J-Rich's contract or is he also now a part of this "next year future" as well?
