Rockets do not see Gortat at MLE value. Morey is great number guy and he simply do not overpay. It would take much more than Gortat if Magic is targetting Battier. Gortat is BYC making trade involving him difficult plus the fact that Magics do not really have much trade asset left to do a deal. Also note that there are other good options outside Gortat that Rockets may get while keeping Battier. The off season is still young.
