Ny - Was

Post#1 » by knicks321 » Sun Jul 12, 2009 9:04 am

Just a curious knick fan here wanting to know if the wiz would be interested in:

Hughes, Jeffries, and Joe Crawford

For Miller, Stevenson, and Mike James ?

Lineups
Haywood/McGee
Jamison/ Blatche
Caron/ Jeffries
Hughes/ Young
Arenas / Foye

Darko/ Curry
Harrington/ Hill
Chandler/ Gallinari
Miller/ Stevenson
Duhon/ James/ Douglas

I think the deal helps both teams. I think the wiz get better due to team chemistry with the addition of hughes and jeffries - arenas, jamison, haywood, caron - these guys played well together back when eddie was the coach.

Knicks get a little bit better shooter at the 2, gain some defense with stevenson, but lose versatility with jeffries - however save 2 mil towards 2010.

yea or nay wiz fans?

The Wizards are also interested in saving money; Jeffries has a horrible contract and he has a trade kicker.

IBTM.

Let's see now, the Wizards give up the best player in the deal (Miller) plus take on additional 2010 salary for a poor player (ared effries). Yeah, that's a real winner of a deal for the Wizards.

knicks321, I copied this topic and merged it into the stickied trade thread (where Wiz Board members and visitors are to post trade ideas such as this one). Please continue the discussion there. Thanks.
