Jazz/NYK trade

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Sun Jul 12, 2009 4:11 am

Boozer/Harpring/Fess for Curry/Jeffries/Galinari

NYK would have no long term contracts on their roster for 2010 but it costs them Galinari, a big loss, but to get Lebron/Bosh etc may be worth it to them.

Jazz by getting Curry can let Millsap and Boozer leave and pick up young star in galinari. They can try to revamp Curry's career.

Jazz Lineup

PG Williams Maynor Kruger
SG Brewer Korver Galinari Miles
C Curry Kosta Memo
PF Memo Kosta AK-47
SF AK-47 Miles Galinari Jeffries

Jazz do trade for future of Williams Galinari & the NYK pick next year. They also hope to revitalize Curry. Basically, rebuilding instead of keeping Loozer or over paying for Millsap.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

Mr. Toledo, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

+1 +1 +1!!! Couldn't have put it better myself. I've been combatting this nonsense almost every time I see it and have never been able to throw a perfect quote, such as that one, in. xstockholm you are the man!

NY rejects this trade. If we want Boozer we will sign him outright without giving up anything next offseason. We want to trade Curry and Jeffries but not at the expense of Gallo. If you want to trade Boozer to match Millsap be ready to take pennies on the dollar, no promising young talent is coming your way. The promising talent you get is the ability to match Milsap, no team is going to give you anything of value.

This guy has to sit at his computer and laugh like a mad man every time he posts. He's probably thinking, "how many people can i shock today?"

Riiiight, because Knicks fans are so rational and objective about their players and all. These are the same guys who think Wilson Chandler is the next Shawn Marion and who were thinking all they needed to do was offer him straight up to Memphis for the #2 overall pick.

We should totally ask them what they think about one of their young unproven guys.

All fans happen to overrate their players, especially their young ones. I do not recall many posts about trading Chandler for number 2. Most posts were Chandler and our pick for a higher slot to grab Rubio, a trade that I would not do because Chandler has shown alot and I am not a Rubio fan anyway.

I want you guys to keep Boozer. You guys seem to want to trade him. You guys are not stupid you know he will leave next year unless you drastically overpay him. Those are the options and the whole league knows it. No one is giving you value for a player that can be signed for free next offseason.

Taking on over 34M in Curry and JJ is probably not the best way to avoid financial reprecussions. At that price plus Boozer, Gallinari better be one heck of a player.

It would be fun seeing the quotes from Sloan on Curry. It would be even funnier if Larry Miller were still here to comment on him.
