Week 4 sit/start

Post#1 » by CBS7 » Tue Sep 25, 2007 10:53 am

QB - Marc Bulger @ Dallas or Alex Smith vs Seattle?
WR - Roy Williams vs Chicago, Javon Walker @ Indy, Bernard Berrian @ Detroit, Cotchery @ Buffalo, or Jennings @ Minny? Pick 3
W/R - Foster or another one of the WRs above?
Def - San Diego vs KC or Dallas vs STL?

Next league..

WR - Fitz vs Pit, Berrian @ Detroit, McDonald vs Chi, or Jennings @ Min?

QB - Marc Bulger has more potential and with Jackson out he will probably have to throw the ball more. So go with him.

WR - Roy Williams (always finds a way to get in the endzone), Berrian (Detroits secondary is week and he should get plenty of opportunities), Cotchery (the Jets should get plenty of chances against Buffalo)

W/R - Go with Foster against TB. I would go with Jennings, but Favre has always struggled to play well in Minnesota.

Def - Toss up, but I would probably go with the Chargers. Both offenses (KC and STL) are struggling but KC is the probably the worst team in the league right now and are struggling to do anything on offense. That won't change much this week against a strong San Diego defense.

Next league,
Go with Fitzgerald and Berrian. I would say McDonald if you need a 3rd receiver.

I too have Bulger but don't think you want to start him since he's playing a very good defensive team IN DALLAS. Are you kidding me???? Bulger is playing hurt and while he'll no doubt throw the ball more, there's a always good chance he'll get hurt.

Alex smith on the other hand, will be pumped and got something to prove at home. Darrell Jackson will get at least one or even two touchdown against his old team. Book it.

You can't go wrong with either defense this weekend but I would start Dallas vs the struggling STL without SJAX and Orlando Pace. SD will probably look to score early and often against KC.

So My fantasy league question for week 4 is IF Delhomme is not playing and Bulger hurt as my backup, would you pick up a QB like Warner or Garrard or Harrington and start them?

Alright I just made a trade I moved Bulger, Kevin Jones, and Tenn D for Frank Gore and the Atlanta D.

Well my main issue this week is my backup QB(we start 2 in this league) is Jason Campbell. I can live with him as my number 2, but he's got a bye week.

So my choices from FA this week are Trent Edwards from Buffalo or Kelly Holcomb from Minnesota.

I wouldn't start either if I had my choice, I think their both terrible fantasy options. Thats why I only have to make the decision of to start Palmer or Hasselbeck. Its nice not having to make the decision on which of the 2 is less likely to cost me a chance of winning.

As far as your QB situation goes with Bulger and Delhomme, I would hope that Delhomme ends up being cleared to play for Sunday. If not I wouldn't even look at any of the options you threw out there. I would look more in the direction of the new Chicago Bears QB Brian Griese. He's going up against possibly one of the worst secondarys in the NFL (yes I'm saying this as a longtime Lions fan). He should be able to move the ball downfield with ease and put up some big numbers this weekend.

Do I start Hasselback against San Francisco or Jay Cutler against Indy?
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Start Hasselbeck. That team is looking like it could really come together and have a strong season offesively.

I'm going to start Griese over Bulger in both of my leagues. Its a bit risky as he is rusty and never was exactly a great QB, but he has a great matchup this week, he's fresh, and Bulger is playing hurt against a Cowboys team that has 8 picks already on the season.

Reggie Brown had like 20 yards against the freaking Lions. Put a fork in him.

G'day.

For three spots:
Boldin v Pit, Galloway @ Car, Welker @ Cin, Burleson @ SF or J. Walker @ Indy. (I'll probs start Boldin and Galloway, they have been my front liners all year)

Also, Brian Leonard or Sammy Morris.
(I drafted SJax, T. Henry and M Jones-Drew, so a bit harsh that I have to find another RB as well :-), I'm leaning towards Leonard BTW).

Also, while I'm here, how about McNabb @NYG and Romo v Stl? Was going to play McNabb againbut thought I might as well ask.

Cheers guys.

Ward though Droughns might vulture. Williams is losing play to Foster which isnt helping. Add to that the TB has only allowed 1 rushing TD and that was to Alexander in the first game.

Who do you think I should start at QB assuming Delhomme is NOT gonna play. I've got Bulger who really looked pathetic against Tampa Bay and against Dallas, I think its gonna be the same result. Warner who has a good chance to prove himself against the Steelers is the logical choice if and when Leinart fails to produce. If anything, Warner has shown in the past, that he can throw the ball.

I have 6 WRs and start 3.
Im starting Owens and Holt for sure. For my 3rd WR who should I start?
Galloway @ Car (The past three weeks I've started him, he's reliable but I'm looking for who can produce the TDs this week)
Vincent Jackson vs KC
Cotchery @ Buf
Welker @ Cin

Thanks
