Boozer to Cleveland (with Oklahoma City)

Post#1 » by DowJones » Sat Jul 11, 2009 10:44 pm

Cleveland Trades
-Ilgauskas
-JJ Hickson
-2010 1st round pick
-2012 1st round pick (lottery protected)
-$3 million cash

Cleveland Gets
-Carlos Boozer

Utah Trades
-Carlos Boozer

Utah Gets
-JJ Hickson
-2010 2nd round pick from Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City Trades
-2010 2nd round pick

Oklahoma City Gets
-Ilgauskas
-2010 1st round pick from Cleveland
-2012 lottery protected 1st from Cleveland
-$3 million

OKC then buys Z out and he returns to Cleveland. Cleveland essentially rents OKC's cap-space for a year at the cost of $3 million and 2 future 1st round picks. Danny Ferry and Presti are good friends as well so it makes it more likely that OKC does Cleveland a favor.

Utah gets pure cap-space so they can re-sign Milsap and they get a young/talented PF to replace Milsap's numbers off the bench.

Cleveland does this because it just about locks LeBron up and makes Cleveland the favorite to win the 2010 NBA Finals.

LOL, That would be sweet irony to see Booz suit up in Cleveland again. No way this happens.

Cleveland gets robed in this deal. No way they send two future 1st round picks & Hickson for Boozer.

If anything, Hickson would be going to OKC as well.

How many times is some douchebag Cavs' fan going to come on here and offer Illgasgus or however you spell his name, for Boozer? Boozer is worth a whole hell-of-a lot more than Cleveland could give. Your team sucks, and Lebron will leave you. Give it up.

This would be one of the funniest things ever. Watch Cleveland fans suddenly find forgiveness for Boozer and forget the whole Bamboozled incident.

First of all, I am NOT a Cav's fan. Secondly, Boozer is worth more than Illgasgus - but he sure as hell is not worth two additional firsts AND Hickson.

A fair deal would be Boozer for Illgasgus + 1 lotto protected 1st.

Thunder have already stated they are not interested in facilitating a multi-team trade to move Booz.
