MESSAGE FROM THE CLIPPERS GM:

With the 18th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, the Los Aangeles Clippers select PAUL GEORGE out of Fresno State.

We are absolutely DELIGHTED that he was still available at this point in the draft. We feel he is a top 5-6 player in this draft and is a low risk, high reward pick at this point. We were so high on this kid that once we realized that he will fall (or rather go unnoticed as he isn't widely scouted), we traded up just to take a chance and see if he falls in our lap. He did and we couldn't be happier. Welcome to the new, young and dynamic clippers Paul!

With the 19th pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, the Oklahoma City Thunder select Xavier Henry out of Kansas. We really needed a SG for the future and feel like Henry could be that guy. He has good size and all the tools to be a lockdown defensive presence, and we can wait for him to develop into the player we need.

With the 20th pick of the 2010 draft Phoenix selects James Anderson out of Oklahoma State. There's a lot of guys we were looking at but finally decided on him. He's going to be an assassin on the next level if he improves his ball handling. Even if he's unable to do so, he'll be a great catch and shoot guy with all the tools to become a great player down the road.

So skorff, are you going to pick for Milwaukee (or just have the next team go OTC, and then have him pick whenever)? He's well past his deadline. Let's keep this moving please!

Email skorff and ask him if you can pick now. A deadline is a deadline is a deadline. I think that Milwaukee should just have to pick whenever he gets a chance to. Let's keep this moving!

The Bucks select Larry Sanders PF from VCU with the 21st pick.

We stumbled across this guy and liked what we read. We still have interest in another player so the Bucks would love to pick up another first.

If you are not sure if you will be around for your pick, e-mail me your list since I will post it next time I'm on and if it's past the deadline and I haven't posted your pick but you e-mailed it to me, no one will be able to jump you in the draft (someone could have made a pick but if it's the same then you would still get that player since it wouldn't be your fault since you had submitted a list).

But, if it is a couple of hours past your deadline (about 3 hours past) and you did not e-mail me your list and still haven't made your pick, then you will be moved down in the draft order and someone could make a pick before you and then you get their deadline.

So basically, if you e-mail me your choices then you won't be moved down in the draft. But if you don't e-mail me your picks and your over 3 hours late then someone can move ahead of you.

Phoenix selects Stanley Robinson. His freakish athletecism and length make him a solid pick. With decent playing time his offensive game will pick up when he learns what he can and cannot do at this level. Ballhandling skills will also need to be addressed in the future.

Phoenix selects Terrico White, he'll be a good guard to stash away while Baron has the reigns.

San Antonio selects Sherron Collins out of Kansas. While he does not have ideal size, he is a stout player that is lighting quick. We also love his ability to shot the long ball. He will compete with Darren Collison for the starting PG position.

David Stern: "With the 29th pick in the 2010 GM a Team NBA Draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select Dexter Pittman, the 7' Center from the University of Texas."

Cleveland GM: "We are very pleased with our selection of Dexter. We feel he has a very bright future in our system. He is immediately inserted as our backup center behind Nene and should get some pretty good playing time during his rookie season."

Pittman: "I'm just so excited to play in Cleveland alongside the likes of a Kevin Garnett and Nene. That, and I will eat Eddy Curry for breakfast!"

Curry: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"
