What we need is a Marbury type point guard--A penetrator that can dish and shoot a little.

Our second unit has three spot up shooters---House, Sheed, Baby. That said, we need a slasher and penetrating point to go to work with that floor spread out.
Walker and TA both fit the slasher role; both can get to the line and play D and I believe in both.

The point guard is what we really need.
Dam I wish we could hold on to Steph; he is the perfect second unit guy and could easily run the first unit in a pinch.

Pruitt is decent, but we need a 1 that can get to the basket and/or dish with the floor spread. Pruitt is more of a shooter that passes and goes to a spot and doesnt really penetrate or have a command when he is running things.
Hudson=?????????????who knows

Considering Rondo is penciled in for 40+ mpg, I'd say our biggest need is a backup SF.

We won't be able to compete in June unless we can keep Paul between 30-35 mpg through the reg season. On the other hand, Eddie House played 5-10 mpg at backup pg during our title run, and he is still reliable at that spot.

Tony Allen
- tenacious D
- tendency to dribble the ball off foot
+ ill-advised jumpers early in the shot clock
+ 4 inches

I would absolutely love Moon on the C's.

He's a very underrated player, IMO. He can score and defend. He shoots well from the outside and can also score off the dribble. He'd be an ideal backup to relieve minutes off PP and even Ray at times.
Paul Pierce said it best about Caron Butler and the AS 2007 Game:

"Caron Butler should send me flowers for being injured so he could make the All-Star game, because if I was healthy, he wouldn’t be in there.”

Bill Walker backing up the 3>>>Pruitt backing up the 1 was my point.
Walker should be ready to go giving 10-15 mins; why look for some cheap lame vet (outside of Hill of course) when you have talent already.

Walker will emerge--he has to or will be gone and is way too talented and driven not to.
I see him contributing like Baby did before KG went down.
If he stays healthy, Walker will be a factor this season-----I have no doubt.

Have some trust in young players 8-)

You mean like Gerald Green, Kedrick Brown, and Pruitt?

These guys can't be trusted. You need some guys that have actually played more than 5 minutes of NBA non-garbage time..

No.......I mean like Rondo, Baby, and Powe in the championship era and TA, Delonte, or Big Al in the Pre-Champ era.

If BWalker stays healthy, he will be a player and is as ready as any of the above to emerge.
