Love it when a team gets a controversal player they think the world of him. What did you think of him last year or when he was in Sac or Indy. I think the home team puts blinders on just because its there team. You have to admit Ron Ron has some issues. The guy can flat out play ball and is a great addition to the Lakers but no doubt he brings some baggage. Especially with all those bright lights of LA.

Everyone is underestimating the lose of Ariza. That kid has a bright bright future.

some lakers fans were ridiculed for 2+ yrs for saying he'd sign with the lakers for the MLE, so no, the positive opinion of artest isn't new and due to his recent contract with the lakers.

Ron is the Man, I could care less about his off the court issues. Just as long as that NBA Brawl is past him. So far he has had no issues up to this point he has been a real productive player. Ariza has had a positive impact in our team, but at what price. Plain and simple Dr. Buss can't afford all of this salary be realistic.

Plenty of Lakers fans wanted him. Most of the time it came at the deal of trading Odom for him or signing him for cheap. so no, we didn't think that badly before, and we don't do now.

The best part about this signing will be the determination that RA plays with.
I'd love to see his face on opening night, and let him see as each player is awarded his respective ring, even Adam and Sun, and watch the determination to be in the same spot the next year come to his face and take over his style of play to be the teammate we all dream he can be

That I wanted him on this team. Badly.
