Starbury and AI are big names that do not get the job done. D Fish is one who now has 4 rings and knows how to win and step up when needed. He knows the triangle and does all the little things. He is 34, the others must be around the same age or with in a few. They have more money, but Fish is the kind that will be on the Lakers hall of fame wall one day.

neither!! AI couldn't get anything done with Carmelo and "helped" the Pistons to a first round defeat (his injury bringin him down), while Starbury passed up open 3s on bunches of occasions and looked reluctant to even be on the court. Both are getting OLD, A.I. is already OLD (33 or so)? so why would you risk to see how his injury is, or what he plays like? Guarantee you though that Starbury would look and see if he can look at L.A....i wouldn't want him though because of another whole Rick Fox-like thing (played in Boston and LA) yes it sounds petty but even if it was PP, KG or Ray Allen i wouldnt want them , despite the fact that LA could glean some inside stuff, not that Marbury really learned anything from what we know

BTW i heard that AI wants to go to Miami....

Fish. I know he still can do it. He has the heart and the desire.

Shannon Brown if starters minutes will replace Ariza in the golden boy you people overrate section. He will be a 13 point 4 rebound 3 assists 1 steal guy in 32 minutes and the perfect starter.

Shannon really seems like this is his year...but who knows? People used to rave about Farmar and wanted him in the lineup and how Derek Fisher was just a starter because of his history...and look what happened. People here are ready to ship out Farmar to get some other player.

Shannon plays smart basketball. He took the shots that were open, rarely forced any, and played off the ball well. His range also kicked in when LA most needed it (Hit 3 threes consecutively one game, him and Ariza hit back to back threes in a game vs. Utah that helped change the momentum of the game into a W)

the starter should be brown. the finisher... should be fisher. brown played beter than any of the other pg's last year. that's after coming over mid-season and not knowing the offense. he now makes more money than farmar so he should play more. farmar's time in the "wood" is about up. hey, how 'bout this trade? farmar and sun for shuan livingston and kyle weaver? it saves us money and adds some depth at the 1 and 2. (shoulders shrugging)

This is the first time I'll agree with you, Star. Show Lamar the money.. don't give it to him, just show it.

Dont think either one is a good fit. AI is only good for selling tickets and jerseys. The guy has really fallen off. Think his best shot is Miami but not sure if Wade wants AI chunking up bad shots. Marbury is worthless. Did you see how terribly he played in the playoffs. Farmer is your best bet but need to upgrade at some point as Fisher turns 55 in a few months.
