This seemed to be a given once Jerry slipped up and let it out on draft night.

By the way, not to belabor the point...but Locke also said this wouldnt happen, once they drafted Maynor.

Great, I can look forward to more missed dunks and crazy layup attempts.........

Price is one of those guys you really want to like and root for, but he plays so out of control, it's ridiculous.........

It's ok, good move. Price is kind of a Jazz veteran now, and I expect him to bring a little bit more into the table next season; he has only to cool down a little bit and he wil be more than ok.

Poor Locke is really taking a beating this offseason, but I'd still rather listen to him than Monson.

Its those kinds of things that gets a team going. Price got so little PT that he always had to try and play crazy to show what he can do. I think he can slow down being the full time backup.

Good signing for Jazz. Hopefully, Sloan gives him a chance to be the energy guy off the bench. I would like to see him get 15-20 min total per game at both guard positions. One of the few Jazz players that hustle all the time on the floor.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

No he didn't. No you are just being a hater. He said that he wouldn't be surprised, if they went with a cheaper option (like Kruger), also depending on what their comfort level with Maynor is.

If you were listening to the broadcast, you would have heard him say that this draft pick all but kicked Ronnie price out the door, that with the financial struggles they were having there was NO WAY they could go with 3 pg's.

David James argued with him right then, and he may have softened his stance on it since then, but thats what he said.

The point of this signing is that the Jazz don't have confidence in Maynor this year.

The point of this signing is that the Jazz have always carried three PGs.

lol, nothing like a missed dunk to get everyone psyched. Seriously though, price isn't even that good of a backup, but with Manor looking to be our long term backup, another year of price shouldn't hurt.

This was a good move. Maynor showed that he was definitely not ready in Orlando.

Ronnie has produced for us ALWAYS in big situations. I do not understand all the hate from red4hf. People talk about his big game in Game 2 against LA where almost single handedly brought the Jazz back, but people forget how huge he was for us the first year against LA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRqXv46o ... re=related
^ This play turned that game around for us. We were down by quite a bit with 8 mins left and we came back and one. I for one pumped my fist when I heard this news.

Okur isn't overpaid. If you think he is you haven't looked at the market value of an NBA center lately.

If you want to talk overpaid take a look at Harpring, Korver and AK.

I'd personally fly to SLC and murder KOC.
Probably something like a 2 year 3.5 mil IMO.
