max contract and bad ankle

Does the following photo of Dwill, scare anybody else but me. He did just sign a max contract and his ankle is supposedly bad.

Go to the images and check out the backflip.

Looks like he is having fun. I would also think that Deron is smart enough to not do anything that would ever jeopardize his play on the court. It's not like he hurt his ankle on a backflip before, it was Rose that caused that injury.

Does it concern anybody else that threads like this tend to bring bad karma to the team? Just sayin...

He took the time after the season to let his ankle heal. As far as we know it seems fine. After seeing that backflip it looks perfectly fine to me.

Yeah. Watched it on Sportsbeat and he seemed perfectly fine doing it and smiling the whole time. He's a very smart guy, and besides getting a max contract, also cares about winning. I don't think he'd do anything to jeopardize that.

On a positive note, the picture on the right has Williams looking fantastic in the upper body, slender yet muscular. Remember how he looked at Illinois? What a transformation.

Let the man enjoy himself will you. Sure I rather not have him doing back flips while in golf attire but whatever, he needs some fun.

Wasn't the backflip part of getting a $10k donation? C'mon people, it's not like he bought a motorcycle...

That is just one more reason why Deron is the coolest player in the league.

Also, you'll notice a lot competitive wrestlers can do back flips. They've got a lot of strength in the muscles that allow them to do that. A lot of wrestlers really athletic celebratory dances after they win. Deron was a very good wrestler growing up so that's not much of a surprise.

He must have gotten the news that the Jazz were trading Boozer!!!

In all honesty, I just see it as one more reason for me to like him. He doesn't take himself to seriously, like some of those primadona hollywood types....*cough*Boozer *cough*
