I moved around a few times (out of state and in state) but I basically grew up around 75th and Thomas by the Desert Sky mall. Right now I'm living with one of my cousins (not in Maryvale though)

Yeah some people say alot of bad things about Maryvale but most of the time they hear those things through other people or haven't even been there. I like it because it's one of the most urban areas in the metro, you can walk to the basketball courts, shops, restaraunts etc but they probally think urban means a bad area or something.

Perhaps but one of my best friends in those days turned into the Phoenix Serial Shooter. I hung with Dale Hausner all the time in our Jr High years. - True story dude. Cat spent the night at my house and vis versa many times.

Have an Aunt and Uncle off 55th and Camelback... what seems like centuries ago, used to run around there with my cuz's, with little care ..... (I miss the Village Inn Pizza after those Roadrunner games.... told you...centuries)

its a war zone there now. If they go out of town, they leave at 3 AM , just so their neighborly folks won't see them leaving, (thus an empty house and prime target) But I haven't been there in a while.

Don't mean to taint your turf MVF,... few places are as they 'were'
