Unfortunately, Arenas played 2 games this season, so I suppose you need a new category for him.

Awesome....[/schadenfreude]

I select PG Deron Williams, I'll put him in 2008-9 All-star for now.

EDIT: I guess Williams hasn't played in an All-star game, I'll put him in "No All-stars" then, seems to be the only category he's eligble for.

team "str8 up derogatory" selects Carmelo Anthony as a "knucklehead" (due to suspension - fight vs knicks).

BTw how injuries or threat of playing in Europe will be considered in final results? It is different whether you simply have Yao or whether you have just a hope he will play at least part of the season. Simillar with Rubio, Childress,Splitter...

anyone picking yao is throwing away a pick since he is out all season.

however, there are cats specifically designed for picking guys like childress so the assumption would be those guys would come to your team and play. we arent negotiating contacts here, but i think we do have to take into consideration existing injuries, such as the case w/ yao.

so assume 2 things

1. any guy you pick will play for your team, regardless of contract status.
2. any existing injuries will be taken into consideration.

olajuwon...

cp3 is on the excluded player list.

u are all good on arenas. he was eligible under the knucklehead rules. turned out to be a very wise pick, imo.
