He'd do everything we wanted Hill to do on offense, except he'd be a much better defensive presence and he's much younger. He'd kill two or three birds with one stone, and for that he'd be worth his contract.
Garcia can't guard any of those positions. He is a shooter but other than that he is liability he is a tall slow Eddie House to be honest. He is a terrible defender on bad defensive team.
Nocioni is very similiar to Posey defensively, a very good team defender and can do the job individually at the SF spot. He is better offensively at the PF spot but he is a little small to defend there.
The big difference between Nocioni and Posey is about 4 or 5 years in age. Nocioni's deal is huge but it actually decreases in value which is attractive. The another difference is that we would be moving Scal out not just adding another contract to his and we kind of exit the Lux Tax situation after this season.
Umm I dont know how much of the Kings you've watched but Garcia is better than Nocioni defensively. Garcia is one of the best shotblocking wing players in the league, gets 1.2 steals a game, has great length and plays with energy and heart at all times.
