So I ask you, if you're so pissed about the Nuggets not doing anything.....why don't you actually offer some logical possibilities.

I'm not pissed, but I would have loved it if the Nuggets picked up Bass. His deal was 4/18, Denver could have offered 4/20. S&T with Dallas. He can hit the jump shot and is a good rebounder. Plus he's still young.

That would have been the perfect offseason. Picking up Lawson, AA, and Bass. Three good young players (all fitting needs) who could continue to develop.

But why does Dallas do that? They aren't going to help the team that just knocked them out the playoffs improve unless its a deal that improves them. Do you wanna give up a first for Bass? Can't add Klieza because you can't combine players with TPE, plus they don't really need another SF. The Nuggets don't have alot of other assets to trade. I agree Bass would have been a good addition, but I just don't think there was much that could have been done to get him.

They do it so they don't lose him for anything? Plus they gain a TPE they could then use. They certainly seem to be in spend now mode.

Helping a team that just destroyed you get a player they really need will take much more then a TPE, especially when they know they will have to get through that team again.
