My man, good job holding down the fort and repelling all attacks. I love the choice for The Walt and Chabbcats!!

Originally I thought Amare was a knucklehead for sure, but I guess I'm mistaken.... his only suspension was that 1 game in the playoffs for "Leaving the bench" after Steve Nash got thrown into the scorer's table.
So... I guess he still fits the category, in absolutely the weakest possible way, since apparently he's never gotten into off-court trouble and won an award from the NBA for his charity work.

I guess just because he's kind of a dumbass in interviews, I just assumed? Apparently a bad assumption! Nonetheless, great player to pair with Rose. Pick & Roll FTW... best get some defense though.

Re: summer fun: fantasy draft contest - wabber on the clock
With the 14th pick, the dual gm team still thinking of a name selects...

STEVE NASH, PG from Johannesburg, South Africa. Steve was born on the 7th of February in 1974, making him 35 years old.
Nash's skillset will complement Boozer perfectly. Help off of Steveski? Boozer takes his man from mid range or with his nearly limitless low post moves. Double Boozer? Automatic 3 points for the good guys.
What about defense? Fear not. We already have a scheme in place to cover for Nash and Boozer's inefficiencies on that end.
It is our belief that Steve was the best player 35 or over before the draft began and are ecstatic to have the 2 time mvp with our 2nd pick. We'd like him placed in the super vets category for now.
As a final plus, Steve Nash will bring the training staff from the Phoenix Suns with him, because they're his boys. So keep in mind that we have the fountain of youth thing going for us.

Well I guess http://www.nba.com/players/int_players_0809.html should be a source (for those playing in league last season).

Otherwise there would be too many players from Great Britain.

DAMN IT!! I was hoping people would have forgotten about that/not found it with their Google search because I wanted him with my 2nd pick!

Walt Cronkite wrote:As his new spokesperson, I will address these ridiculous allegations.
Money hungry is good...in a contract year. The Walt Chabbcats(?we're still working on this, I got nothin) expect to see a fully healthy and WELL motivated Carlos in 2009-10.
Goes back on his word, schmerd. So a guy rips off a blind guy and he's some sort of villainous figure? Carlos may be European by birth, but this just shows he's an American at heart. In the words of Ray Liotta in Goodfellas "**** you, pay me".
Only resting (in order to have this monster season)
Crappy D-- alright, I'll concede this one. One player does not a team make... and I promise all of our fans that with Chabber and I at the helm, team defense will not be in short supply.
It's hard to have clean skin when you have to do as much heavy lifting as Carlos. It's not like we drafted Sam Young, though.
Well played my friend, well played.

Re: summer fun: fantasy draft contest - wabber on the clock
Due to his suspension over a fight with Andres Nocioni our team selects Danny Granger as its knucklehead.

I knew there wont be enough allstars for everybody. At least we can change catagories so it is ok.

Pretty hard to blame him for that. If I played in the NBA I would want to punch Nocioni in the face too.
