I never even heard of this Hume guy but it seems like every twat he posts on his twitter has to do with celtics. does he have any credibility whatsoever?

He's got no cred from what I can tell, just some random twitter account. He's following more people than they are following him.

I thought he was a beat writer or something. Here I am getting all excited about these rumors. :noway:

Well look a little closer, Champ. This guy's got cred out the wazzoo. I mean, his bio lists him as an "American Rebel", and his account links to the official website of non other than James Dean. No cred? Please...

As Dean himself is quoted on the website, "The gratification comes in the doing, not in the results".

My guess is that this guy has heard Danny wants certain players... Delonte, LRMAM, maybe Bowen, Moon, etc. And has come up with trade ideas (although far-fetched, to say the least) that made sense in terms of dollars, not basketball apparently.

I'm sure he's heard that Danny wants Wade or LeBron or whoever but knows any trade involving them would get his rumors (and whatever "cred" he has) shot down immediately.

Take anything he says FWIW - pretty much nothing - but at least he may have heard of players DA is interested in.

While he was here, on an awful team, thinking he could provide more for us than allowed to. At this point, it may not be a problem. I remember reading an article that he is learning to deal with depression issues. He seemed to like his time here in Boston, and he would have had those depression issues no matter where he was, and I'm sure being a solid bench contributer would not make him deal with depression now.

And as I say this I realize all these points are worthless because there's no way he's coming here :-?
