What's taking these people so long to make an iTouch 80/160 GB? That's the only thing keeping me from ditching my Classic.

Man I suggest you ditch the classic now and run as fast as you can to a Best Buy and get the touch. Thing is amazing

Thanks again for your advice. The weekend was cool.

I actually have even less confidence my friend is going to be back any time soon, regardless of what happens with her BF. She just got an offer to head down to Chile for four months at $10 grand per, and I think she's going to have a tough, tough time leaving Rome behind, what with social circle and the fondness she has for the city.

But, nothing I can do about that, is there? So it was fun, and I'll see her periodically through the end of August before she hops back over the pond.

My friend had a touch and he could use the wireless at the Uni and coffee shops whenever there was one in vicinity. I believe in big cities like LA you have hot spots in malls etc so it could be pretty useful. I remember in Dallas where there was a wireless hotspot covering an entire neighborhood.

My complaint with the touch is that it still loads most webpages in WAP (mobile version) and not pure html like we get them on laptops and PCs. Also I think you need to buy and install an application to play flash content on your safari browser with touch.

Verb, you can watch videos on Ipod touch. The video conversion to mac formats still takes a load of time tough, unless you buy stuff from the Itunes store.
