If this is for real, I gotta say I am scared. If we get Haslem and freaking Wright for Boozer, I'm gonna be really pissed off.

I'm going to be optimistic and say this rumor is nothing but crap. If this is true, I think it's time to find a new GM.

IF it is true, then KOC did what everyone expected him to do, he got rid of Boozer. Can't say im surprised about it, i wasnt thinking were going to get a player as good as Boozer in return.

I won't jump ship if it happens, but I think Beasley better start packing. He isn't their guy, Wade want's Boozer. He might even turn into a worse player than Haslem, but he is a good gamble for 2 years.

I really hope this isn't the case, if it is the summation of our offseason:

Draft 3rd string pg
Sign Okur to 2 year extension for 20mil
Sign price
Match millsap for a 4 year 32mil contract
Trade Boozer for Haslem/cap space.

These moves don't say "we are going to compete for a championship this year". It says "we are satisfied with just making the playoffs".

I must admit that I would be disappointed if this deal came about. What's funny is that Haslem is a really good, veteran player. If he were 4 inches taller and had the exact same game (ie, a center with his same profile) I would love the move. We just don't need him at that position. I'm not too down on the value of the actual player, just his position. Haslem is the type of guy you need to win a championship. I would love to have him, but the position is wrong. He is a lot like a PF version of Battier. Too bad it wasn't Battier himself.

What about this trade. The jazz trade Boozer and Fess for Haslem and James Jones plus a 2011 first rounder. They then trade Haslem to Portland for 2010 first rounder. The Jazz add about 9 million in cap space get James jones a great 3 point shooter plus get a extra 2010, 2011 first rounders. The jazz look to trade Harping contract with a future first rounder plus cash to a team like Memphis. The jazz gives Memphis the cash to pay Harpings contract. Memphis could then just cut Harping but still get a free first rounder. The Jazz save 6.5 million in Luxury tax. The jazz then try sign Drew Gooden for 3 or 4 milion and James Augustine for league minimum.

I hope the Jazz don't trade for Haslim. I would rather have Thomas or Beasley by a long shot. Haslim has played in Florida his whole life. He loves Florida and he has a tatoo of the state on his back. This would only be a loan for a year and then he will return to Miami next year. I would rather have Thomas or Beasley.

Here is his tatoo:

Maybe the jazz trade Boozer and Fess for Haslem and James Jones and 2010 first round pick then Trade Haslem to Orlando for the trade exemption and 2011 first round pick . The jazz then could trade Korver to Minnesota for Smith. James Jones backs up Kirilenko at small forward and Miles backs up Brewer at shooting guard. Craig Smith is a great low post scorer and would backup Millsap. The jazz then look at dealing Harping contract plus add cheap player Like James Augustine and Luther Head or Juan Dixon maybe another Guard -forward like Othyus Jeffers or Tskitishvili. Augustine and Head reunite with Williams then add Jeffers all players on league minimum contracts.

I dont understand why everyone is so upset over us trading Boozer for crap. If Boozer doesn't take his player option for this year I guarantee we would have let him walk without getting anything in return. The Jazz didnt want him back and now they have to do whatever they can to get rid of him. Getting rid of Boozer isnt about getting back fair value in another player. It is about saving money. Thats it.

That is exactly why we are so upset, these trades are crap. I think we rather keep him on the team and make a championship run and let him walk in FA with his numbers coming off the books completely then trade him away for garbage that will hurt the team for the next 2-4 seasons. I rather keep him and compete for a title for a year and take our chances with the NY pick and FA next year then settle for average for the next 2-4 seasons.

Then this team isnt serious about winning a title....theyre serious about ONLY making money.

Beyond that, the Heat has not entered talks about possibly acquiring forward Carlos Boozer from the Jazz, but is monitoring that situation, with no expectation of a quick resolution by the Jazz.

This is from a source directly in the Miami area, so you can't get any better than that. Hoopsworld = garbage 24/7

Why would we want James Jones? And did he just say the big bust Tskitshvili?
