Yes, and the undercard will be broadcast on HDNet.

This card looks awesome, sadly I still don't think it will draw huge PPV numbers due to lack of publicity some of these fighters have, but should provide a good entertainment.

Why do you guys like Sobral over Mousasi? Not sure what Babulu has shown that he should be the heavy favourite. I think Mousasi's last few fights have been more impressive and the guy is still just 24!! I think he wins this fight and in the near future gets put into top 10 p4p discussion.

Could be Affliction's last event, which is sad because they've been putting out some stacked cards.

If the Fedor fight falls apart that really increases the chances that this is the end of Affliction. Which, as a fan of mma, i wouldn't really consider a bad thing. The sooner the talent pool is no longer being divided and all the greatest fighters in the world gather to fight under one promotion, the better it will be for the fans - and more importantly the the sport in general - i think.

For some reason, I didn't believe the Fedor-Barnett fight would go through anyway. It's been the most obvious match for Fedor for 5 or so years, with the two of them always in the same org, but never got put together. I had pretty much resigned myself to it never happening. Which apparently it won't.

Vitor's 185 now, right? They're saying he's been offered the fight. Gegard is the best choice but he and Fedor are friends/training partners. Otherwise, THAT would be an awesome fight.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

Affliction should try to nab Werdum, since Overeem is out of their fight on the Aug 15 SF card. Haven't heard anything that indicates this is a possibility, I just think it makes sense.

Apparently they are considering Bobby Lashley as well.

Who says he hasn't been in the gym since his last fight and sounds pretty reluctant.

Apparently Barnett has tested positive for steroids and now the fight is in jeopardy. MMAWeekly.com is reporting that Vitor Belfort might be his replacement. I wonder if Fedor secretly wants to be a middleweight.

If the Barnett fight is off, then this is the end of Affliction.

Belfort could still help sell the fight.

But yeah, this is a huge blow...

It is official. Barnett is out after testing positive for a banned substance.

Apparently Lashley, Belfort, and Brett Rodgers are possible replacements. Of the 3, only Rodgers interests me and that seems to be the least likely of the 3.
