I would actually go for a strategic duo. Let's get Chris Wilcox by means of a TPE S and T with New York.

Play Wilcox next to Gasol where the two can work quite well. Let's also sign Joe Smith a guy who I think could be great playing across from Bynum. Are we as good? Not quite no. However we've hardly spent 3.5m compared to 8m this year. We may decide to make a move elsewhere to improve. We may get a better PG or backup SG or SF.

I have a feeling this Odom five year contract is a quitting contract. There's a reason he doesn't believe in a 3 year deal and then two MLEs. He's going to quit very likely in effort.

Cause he's a Spur fan..................we hate the Spurs !

Seriously though we only get a lot of outside action only when the Lakers are facing adverse situations. Just like when Kobe demanded his trade, we got leeches from all the teams who thought they were going to land him.

LO's indecisiveness and total dumbness is typical LO. Now with LO courting Miami all we have is Heat fans rolling up and I hate those guys for all the crap they were talking when they first got Shaq.

But hey it is what it is................we just gotta roll with it.

I'd go Joe.... over the hill but look at what PJ did on the Celts two years ago.

Both would be third string behind Pau, Powell and possibly even Artest.

Millsap or David Lee in a S&T?

No way Utah gives up Millsap, they are high on him..
David Lee, why would knicks do a S&T with us.. i dont think they will want any of our leftovers..

I dont mind Drew gooden.. a cheap low cost replacement for Lamar... Artest is going to take away Lamars mins anyway.. so not signing Lamar is good..

lamar plays pf, artest plays sf. artest wouldn't take lamar's minutes, unless u think phil would play artest at pf to try to get luke walton more minutes over lamar.

Joe Smith would be the safe bet. I'd imagine he'd play for the vet min. Problem is do you think he has anything left in the tank. I know he's sat out a bunch of game with injuries over the years but the guy has like 14 yr in the league. What do you think about Pops-mansah bonsu? Raptors picked him up last yr. I think this kid is going to be a diamond find for some team.

Pops? He'd be a decent pick-up..doubt it though,

I rather pick Joe over Beard if I were you guys..

Also how bout Jamaal Magloire? The dude looked pretty good with Miami with his physical bulkness.

Or Mikki Moore? Or you hate ex-celtic guys?

Or Big Ben so that he and Ron Ron can finally share the same jersey, bleh...haha.

Man, imagine if Memphis chose Sun Yue over Marc Gasol for the Pau trade. Having Marc as a backup big man would be really really nice. He was a great draft pickup for us btw. Would of been nice if we could of kept him. But no complaints here, we definitely got the better brother.
