For the 340th time, Lugo sucks.

What a disaster of a game. At least Smoltzie looked good.

Dasiuke for Zabrano, straight up. They might want more because Daisuke is injured right now.

Beckett
Lester
Zambrano
Wakefield
Smoltz or Penny or Bucholz.

He isn't what he used to be, this year, but if he gets back to what he was doing. :droop: What a rotation.

He's always been too erratic for my taste. I'd rather have Buchholz up, to be honest.

I love Carlos, he's great to watch, entertaining as all hell. So long as he's not on your team. We'll see dinosaurs Everett back in town before this guy.

"Always. The minute I put that uniform on I dreamed I was gonna start my career in Boston and end my career in Boston. I still have that dream. The only difference from the original dream is that I wasn't supposed to put another uniform on. But that dream is still there."

Is that a hint from Nomar?

Could we see something like Griffey did?

I hope he gets the loudest of ovations tonight.

Much more than I expected from Clay. He did great. Made solid major leaguers look foolish at times, which is much more than could be said about him last year. Wonder if this forces the fo into a move.

Wow, Ricciardi is a complete dick. He's being interviewed on the baseball show and says "We're not Blue Jay nation, we have lives up here". lol.

Clay better be a starter by August 1st. I don't care what needs to be done to Penny, but he's one of the top 3-4 starters on this team. Just get it done.

Ahh... the first real losing streak of the season and desperation hits in...

It wouldn't be a Red Sox season without it, would it?

Boston Herald - The Red Sox are reportedly trying hard to acquire first baseman Adrian Gonzalez from the Padres.

A source told the Boston Herald that the Sox are extremely interested, but that they have been rejected by San Diego.

The Padres entered Thursday's action at 37-58, twenty-four games behind the Dodgers in the NL West

Doesn't look like the padres are budging. We've heard Adrian's name going on a couple years now. This would signify the end of lowell, oh well, for adrian, it would be worth it.
