Jasion Williams

for

Capspace.

Williams is just a minimum salary, so Atlanta will not have to send any salary back.

Williams was a 4th string PG in San Antonio and we would like to clear up as much capspace as possible. We gladly accept this trade.

Atlanta have no backup PG at the moment so we would love to get Jason Williams back.

Bobcats accept the deal with Houston. We love what Murphy brings to the table and are excited about Wafers recent growth.

NOH Accepts.

We really like Wilcox and feel that he is one of the absolute best bargains in the league, but this move clears more cap space and allows us to add a future asset.

New Orleans cuts Sonny Weems and Chris Quinn (neither guaranteed).

I own the Bobcats' 1st round pick in 2011 (if it's in the top 10). The reason I only own it if it's in the top 10 is because he traded it away top 10 protected already. I don't think he can trade his 2011 1st anymore...

If you own it from 1-10, he still has the pick from 11+. He traded it to me lotto protected (15+).

If the pick is 1-10, you get it. If it's 11-14, he gets it. If it's 15-30, I get it. I don't think his squad will be in the lottery next season, but if his pick falls in the 11-14 range, we would both be entitled to it. In that situation, I'll put a stipulation in the protection that Boston gets the pick if it falls in 11-14 and NOH would get the next available CHA 1st.

Therefore, CHA's 2011 1st:
1-10 BOS
11-14 CHA*
15-30 NOH

*if the pick falls within 11-14, BOS has priority for the next CHA 1st and NOH will get the following 1st.

OK, sorry, you're right. He no longer owes his 2011 pick to Minnesota because their pick was #14 this year.

But I don't think either of us would get his 2012 pick if the 2011 pick fell in the 11-14 range, as it wasn't stipulated in the trades.

The New Orleans Hornets and San Antonio Spurs have a trade to announce:

Tayshaun Prince 11147760
Eric Maynor 1546560
12694320

for

Julian Wright 2858057
Goran Dragic 1972000
BJ Mullens 1713600
Darren Collison 1306560
7850217

4844103 difference
51631116 total SAS salary (after Jason Williams trade)
57300000 cap
(5668884) (greater than difference)

The Hornets were really high on both Prince and Maynor, but we like the diverse talent coming back to us in this deal. While Prince was the best player in the deal and we don't like taking Dragic's contract back, this allows us to clear a bit more space for free agency.

San Antonio accepts. Drafting Jerome Jordan made B.J. Mullens expendable. We were very high on Maynor and he will be the perfect fit next to Terrence Williams. We also add one of the best "glue" guys in the game today in Tayshaun Prince. Although he is older than our core, I feel he will be able to contribute even when we start to contend.

The Atlanta Hawks and the Charlotte Hornets have a trade to announce:

Atlanta sends Kenyon Martin $16,545,454

Charlotte sends Troy Murphy and Darius Songaila $11,968,254 + $4,818,000 = 16,783,254

Salary obviously work.

Atlanta do this deal because Murphy is a much better fit to our current roster. He have a lot more range then KMart so he will help to spread the floor he is also a better rebounder than KMart while KMart is a much better shot blocker and defender. We believe our defense is solid enough so at this point we value range and rebounds more than what KMart brings us.

Troy is a couple of years younger so if we decide to extend our PF i would be more comfortable to extend the younger guy. Songaila will help our depth he is a serviceable expiring.

Skorf26:
Need Sacramento to accept

Well he had originally proposed the first deal with Songolia and only for it to fall apart because of a careless mistake. Then he proposed this one which I also accepted and posted. He then emailed me that he had gotten a offer which would have sent Collison to another team for a TE which he liked better. He offered me the opportunity to do the deal for the TE and I rejected it. I told him if he can do the other deal if he preferred. Later on it seems as if he posted his acceptance only to change his mind the next day when you hadn't had a chance to confirm it. So I don't know what is going on with the deal.

Bobcats accept!

We needed a little more toughness on the inside and Martin brings it.

Sign and Trade Miami and LA Lakers

Lebron signed for the max to Miami for Wade and a conditional 1st
(I believe that's what the trade was, when LA and Miami accept they can clarify it)
