Kerr looks like the kid who rocks up to his final exam without having attended class all year.

Might as well - MDaniels is gone to the Celts
No way. Marquis Daniels won't get any playing time over there.
He should go elsewhere. Plus I thought they spent all their money on Rasheed Wallace.
Reported that he's signing for $1.9m biannual exception

Hey I wasn't doubting you. Its just one of those things you don't want to see happen. The Celtics look like they make offers to every decent free agent. Quite annoying actually.

Re: Earl Watson
I think we should still sign a guard. If Dragic starts to struggle, just put him in the D-League for a bit, and bring him back up once we play the lower tier teams. I heard he gained seven pounds of muscle this offseason. I hope he gains more, he's gonna need it.

Re: Earl Watson
I think our backcourt is fine the way it is. No need to take away more time from Dragic. What's the point of trying to get a young team if we cannot develope our own young players?
Since we still have Hill on our team, our ball handling duties are covered.

Looking forward to the 28-29 season.

Re: Earl Watson
I've thought for a while now that we need a vet backing up Nash until we find someone who shows enough flashes to warrant the mins. We just drop off *so* badly when Nash sits down.
For me, Dragic will be lucky to be a back-up PG in this league long-term. He's certainly not up to a level we need him to be. I would actually love to see him play in the D-League to see whether he can dominate there consistently (DJ/Tucker both were socring 30ppg there) before we make any further evaluations on him.
Until then, bring in Watson and lets get moving.

Agreed. Dragic has had some good games but he's just too inconsistent to be the primary backup right now.

Re: Earl Watson
Chris Wilcox just signed with Detroit. I'm just saying this because I know several of you wanted him in a Suns uniform, which I would have despised if that were to happen.
Lets get a guard now Kerr!!

Dragic is not going to develop sitting on the bench. This team has done very poorly developing young players. From DAntoni days they have brought in marginal veterans at the expense of young players. If Dragic drops back to 3rd string pg, there is no point in having him on the team. They might as well just cut him

Good point. I don't think he would develop either. I mean, just look at Alando Tucker, he's been sitting on the bench for two seasons now and he hasn't grown all too much. When Jared Dudley first came off the bench he wasn't doing too well, but with more minutes gives the guys more growth. Confidence also plays a huge factor for bench players too.

Re: Earl Watson
Watson is a bum. Well he had ONE good game last year, in the Thunder's blow out of the Clips. That was really about it. Barbosa is much better, hell even Dragic is.
Watson is not a missing piece to this puzzle.

Re: Earl Watson
What about trying to sign Marcus Williams from the Las Vegas summer league?
I think he might have been on Memphis' summer roster but he was not a bad prospect when he played for the Nets. He didn't really get a chance to play for Don Nelson in Golden State either (not surprisingly either; Nellie can be pretty tough on young players). He has proven that he can really distribute the ball. Sign him up as a second backup PG and hope he either he or Dragic mature into a quality point guard.

I'll take Watson or Marcus Williams. Marcus Williams style on the court looks like it would really match us here.
